No. I think they are included now. And if you have the Box Sets package HD is included anyway.

Update on my cancellation offer. I received the 60% off TV for 12 month offer on the "My Sky" website. For the £50 - £100 cashback, do I have to ask for this via live chat or will any form of cashback offer appear on My Sky if I hang on a little longer?

Thanks

You have to call them or speak on Live chat for the credit offer. Probably best to say you got a leaflet in the post offering you £100 credit but the cut off date was yesterday. They might still offer it to you though.

Thanks for your advice, much appreciated.

I was able to get £50 credit and 60% off which is more than I would accepted had I not come across this forum.

That's great. If you had waited a little longer just after your cut off date they probably would have offered £100 credit.

Did you get the offer to keep the sky box active for 12 months at no cost and keep the recording features? It seems to tie in with keeping line rental for 12 months. I got this offer by letter 3 days before cut off and had been with Sky for 22 years as well.

It includes any other box you have as mutiroom as well. This is the offer I took and am using Now tv for sky programmes at a fraction of the cost. I got an E mail to come back for £5 for family bundle but turned it down as I would have to add multiroom and HD pack. I told them the SD quality I would get is inferior to what I get on Now tv.

So anyone coming to their cut off date who has broadband and phone with Sky may get this offer letter a few days before cut off date.

I wonder if I got that and missed the email. I was expecting that but then forgot about it.

And now my boxes are in the loft, gathering dust over old Sky boxes, a series 1 TiVo and goodness knows how many old printers and VHS/DVD players!

It was a letter I received and on the back was a picture of the sky box saying Don't throw this away. So you maybe didnt get that offer. I was surprised because it was exactly what I wanted. And the fact that both boxes were left active made it even better. Like getting mutiroom for free but without the pay channels.

I cancelled last week after a discount ended and my package went back up to £80. I have checked online & Interactive and have the 60% offer.

My package is "Sky Box Sets with Cinema & Sports HD" which has gone up to £80 per month. I just wanted to check if the discount is off everything except HD as I find the terms text a little confusing?

60% was the first offer I received, I assume it doesn't get any better than this?

60% is off everything if you have the Sky Box Sets package as HD is included in that package plus Cinema and Sports which are extra of course but you will still get 60% off those also.

I called up earlier this afternoon to inquire about getting Sky Q. I got a deal for Sky Q silver, a multi screen box for the bedroom with box sets, sky sports & cinema for £41.60 a month & £60 up front fee. I'm happy with that deal

I had the same and I got on the chat with them to discuss and they said the deal was no longer available, so I said, that's OK; I shall adjust my viewing with my newly acquired Now TV gadget to supplement my Humax PVR. The reply I got was BYE......

I've got sky free for a year. The original bundle @ £20 a month with 60% discount and £100 credit. I did have to wait 9 months for that deal as I was not going to settle for anything less as I have my freesat Pvr and the occasional nowtv pass.
I must say I'm so glad to have sky back as their pvr/epg system is much nicer than humax and the extra channels are nice to have back.

Sky seem to be reserving the best deals for newbies so I cancelled my broadband with them after they wouldn't give me a deal. They asked me today why I was leaving so I told them. I added that I'll be back to cancel the tv once the new broadband has transferred.

The guy genuinely seemed surprised until I told him it was a no brainier going to BT for the exact same broadband package, getting £100 back via Quidco plus the £100 reward card from BT.

Did you take up the sports HD and films £3.40 a month, with your 60% offer?
How much a month has that deal cost you?
Thanks.
