I left Sky in August, before the end of September I had a come back to sky offer of 60% and £75 credit, now that has reverted back to just 60%.

I was planning to accept it some time soon but came across all these offers for SkyQ, I'm going to get a 4ktv in Nov and move my current one to the next room. I've read some random offers on a few other discussion forums (sky discussions, MSE etc) and a person got the Sky Q 1TB, with a mini box for £32 pm (complete bundle sports/movies) and £30 one off installation , can anyone here confirm that this is legit? To be honest if the offer was over £40 I probably wouldnt take it but this offer I would bite their hand off. I need to know what is possible before I try to haggle, thanks for any info.
It's 60% off all packages per month so whatever the full cost of your package with movies and sport is just deduct 60%.

That 60% would apply to me sticking with sky HD+, but I want to move over to Sky Q...with a mini box for multiroom

Maybe they are offering better deals now to sell Sky Q. The mini box is usually £12pm extra. Maybe they are including it for free now.

Your discounts now carry over, so you can accept a come back deal at 60% off for a year, and once done, you can then upgrade to SkyQ.

Remember, you need the 2Tb box if you want to access UHD, along with the multiscreen sub (which you would have, if using a skyq mini).

Thanks for that...I was about to negotiate for the 1TB box

No worries, I saw you were getting a 4k TV, so thought i better mention it, as I assumed you would want access to 4k content.

Have you logged into My Sky to see if there is an offer on there?

Also, the Sky Service App on your phone, or on the Sky+HD box can often show different deals, have you tried them also?
The offer is 50% off on all three - on the Interactive it shows 50% for 10 months on 12 month contract - vague on the app - says 50% & ring - on the MySky web page it says 50% for 12 months - but seems to default back to 10 months when you click thru!!

Don't accept it and wait until closer to your cut off date and it will probably increase to 60%.

I'm now 9 days from cut off - last conversation with CS was "50% off for 10 months with no contract". Told that they can't do any better in terms of discount and no cash credits now available.
Yesterday got an email - but exactly the same offer - now looking extremely likely that I'm going to have to wait until after it all goes off
@gillw -the consensus seems to be that the 60% off deals vanished with the "launch" of SkyQ as the only new customer option.
That's interesting to know - thanks.

I checked the website today and the offer has changed to 50% off for 12months now (instead of 10). I also just received an email with the same offer, but it states the offer expires in 2 days!

Tempting offer, might try the online chat to try and get the 60% they originally offered.

Other people looking for that offer should just say they received that email also about the Sky TV Autumn Sale.

As the email states go back, I assume it's being sent to those that have already left (as in, notice period expired and service turned off), so might not work for those still in their cancellation period.

But if you are leaving then they will probably accept it. They did with me when I told them I got an email offering free line rental for a year to go back even though I hadn't left yet and didn't get the email. I just quoted what another poster told me on here and they accepted it. I also told them that I was offered £100 credit in an email which another poster on here told me about and they accepted that also.

Are you on Sky Chat online or on the phone? It might be quicker if you go onto online Live Chat. Ask for the win back team if you are on the phone cause the cancellations team don't have a clue what they are talking about and don't offer the best deals.
I've done all my deals, via sky online chat its quicker and straight to the point. Used the phone earlier this week with them and was on it for nearly an hour. Waste of time.

Did you manage to get the £15 installation offer in the end?

I always find it difficult to get through using chat, it's always permanently busy, especially if you try and connect via the cancellation route.

Which part of the site are you starting the chat from?

Probably, but not guaranteed, was just pointing out this email is probably being sent to those that have been turned off already, as mentioned by others, getting 60% before your cancellation date is very hard these days, they may now be saving that offer for those that have been turned off (which used to be 75% a few years back).

im currently on a rolling 30 deal with sky until may after seeing the sweet deals sky are offering to new customers on MSE for skyQ (cheaper then my current sky+)

I went to my offers page which said I had to call a phone number when I did they offered me skyQ for more then double the new customer offer price after thanking me for my loyalty

LOL think its time to slap these gimps with another cancelation notice.

I'm in this situation, sort of. Basically I cancelled Sky after being a 14 year customer about 18 months ago and joined Virgin, but just after that Sky offered me a good deal on Sky Sports only which I took up for a year until May 2016 - however I'd sold my Sky HD box but it was fine as I was able to watch it via Sky Go.

Anyway, now I've cancelled Virgin (because of the pathetic slow internet speeds at peak times on their "superfast" broadband) and was looking to go back to Sky. Because that sports offer I took up expired in May I'm not classed as a new customer, and I was attracted by the £32 complete bundle offer for returning customers who have left in the last 12 months. However, I'd need a new box / remote / viewing card for this for which they quoted me £250 to provide and install a new Sky+HD box which is a lot of cash up front and pretty much negates the savings made with the £32 offer.

Do you think if I ask them they might do a better deal with that £32 bundle and a Sky Q box? Or even an older HD box, I'm not fussy! They weren't budging on the live webchat, would they probably be more forgiving if I speak to them? I really can't afford the £250 upfront, and it'd need an engineer install rather than just connecting it myself because the wiring came out when Virgin was installed.
Spoke to their customer services on the phone today. Not much leeway tbh. They only offer that 60% off £32 deal to returning customers with an existing box and set up and they weren't shifting on the £250 new box and installation charge. The only other options would be for me to get a new box myself, but there'd still then be a £75 callout fee for installation even though it'd literally just be new cables required and the dish is already installed, or they could offer me the box and installation for "free" but I wouldn't be able to get the 60% bundle discount and they could only offer 35%, so the cost over the 12 month minimum contract would be pretty much the same anyway.

I asked about the Sky Q boxes, as they'd be technically only on loan to the customer anyway, but that 60% deal wouldn't carry over to a Sky Q package and although they made me some offers on those for various packages which didn't involve installation fees which weren't bad (but weren't as good as new customer deals either) they'd result in my monthly outgoings being quite a bit higher than they are now when I'm actually looking to save money. TBH what I was hoping for was for them to let me have the £32 deal and offer me a decent discount on a new box/installation, or at least loan me a Sky Q box for it (a bit of a sense of entitlement maybe, but I was a customer for 15 years after all!), but looks like it's not going to happen.

I think I might have to just leave it for now, and reconsider joining when I'm classed as a new Sky customer again next summer.

The 60% deal does carry over to Sky Q. Whoever told you that was wrong. That happened to me also when a couple of numpties I spoke to told me it didn't but then others I spoke to said it does now. You should call them up again and speak to someone else.

Please could someone clarify?
I have the following in place:
Sky Broadband free and Sky Talk line rental reduction of £4.50 for the next 11 months. Sky TV Family & Sports HD for £45.30 the next year.
When posters are talking about 60% off deals are they just referring to the TV package or what? How do I , as a long term customer, realistically go about getting a greater reduction off my TV package ? I don't even know the full price for my package (Sky HD+ box).

You have a package for next 11 months? So why would they offer you a further discount?

I was coming to end of my contract (2 mths to go), and got 50% off movies, sport and tv

Family with Sports HD is about £71.50, so you are already getting a reduction, if you say that is for a year, I presume you have just signed up for that deal?

...sounds like you have accepted 40% discount deal on TV package with no discount on HD pack?
The 60% off deals apply specifically to TV packages. HOWEVER, I'm due for switch off today and I'm still not seeing better than 50%

I spoke with the Win Back Team last week and they best they could offer was 50% off my package (including HD) for 12 months. I took this.

They advised the 60% offers had ended.
