Tried live chat but it's impossible to get through to someone as it's always busy. Called up instead but was told my 60% would not be rolled over if I got a sky q box, but it still applies if I use my current hd box, said no thanks and ended the call. Was hoping for a call back but no luck
FYI My offers page is still showing 60% so that offer has not expired |

Whoever told you that is wrong. Your 60% definitely rolls over to Sky Q.

Seems to be luck of the draw on who you get when you call, I'd probably wait for the win back team to call

Depends how long out of contract you are. CPW told me 3 months but Sky told me 6 months.

I know. But you still need to be out of contract for a certain period of time before they allow you to open a new account under a different name at the same address.

Just to update on my previous enquiry - I received an offer on friday - a'a spooktacular TV offer' - giving me 60% on a rolling contract, when I contacted on chat I asked about credit to account and was immediately given £50. Happy with this I rejoined - original with sports and cinema for £22.40. With the £50 credit and credit from overpayment of my old account I don't pay anything til February. Happy days. Thanks guys

I spoke with the Win Back Team last week and they best they could offer was 50% off my package (including HD) for 12 months. I took this.
They advised the 60% offers had ended. I previously only saw the 50% off offer after cancelling and had decided to go with that. Logged onto chat yesterday morning and decided I'd just tell them I had been offered 60% via email. So I just opened the conversation with. "Hi, I recently cancelled Sky and have just recieved an email offering me 60% off my TV for 12 months. I would like to take that deal please." To which they responded: "Yes, we can see that deal noted on your account and can apply it now for you." Not sure if it was because I was actually about to recieve an email with that offer, either way it worked

They are scaling back discounts and it's going to get ever more difficult to get discounts in the next year or two. So the thread title asking the question remains valid. |

![]() I'm getting more offers all the time now. Seems Sky must have changed its mind of late, perhaps wishing to counter a growing number of people leaving - or threatening to leave. |

Nope.
They are scaling back discounts and it's going to get ever more difficult to get discounts in the next year or two. So the thread title asking the question remains valid. Unless you change it to.."maybe sky won't do deals in future", then your premise has no basis. I am a current customer, that was happy to accept 50% off, to continue with sky. |

Some people can easily get discounts, others cannot, so the thread title is a valid question for those who cannot easily obtain discounts.

This thread proves that is wrong, Sky are still doing deals, and i expect the OP has probably even had an offer since he cancelled. So while the question might be a valid question, so is the answer, Yes, Sky are still doing deals (available to EVERYONE). |

Got an "Autumn special" deal to rejoin after ~ 2 days off -60% discount on everything for 12 months (inc HD pack) on a rolling 31 day contract which actually brought my sub down below last year's deal.
HOWEVER, wouldn't budge on a further cash credit -I suspect that I would have had to be switched off for at least a couple of weeks to get cash as well

Are you opted in for marketing contact? If you didn't give permission for contact, you'll get nothing.

left sky a month now and so far nothing,no call's,email, post, not missing it now. so some people can get discount's and other's not.
Also, have you logged into My Sky, usually the first thing you'll see, if you have cancelled - or are in the cancellation period - is a message saying they are sorry to see you go, and an offer of at least 50% off. |
