I received an email today offering 75% off any TV bundle.
how long have you been cut off? i've been about 2 or 3 weeks and online showing 60% discount. i was hoping to have got the £100 credit like last time. i might go for it with 75% off but i rarely use the service so £15 a month is too much for my use

I would have thought 60% off + £100 was the nearly the same as 75% off, over a year, if the initial package was £60 (based on you saying £15 a month with 75% off).

60% off of £60 = £24 x 12 = £288 - £100 = £188
75% off of £60 = £15 x 12 = £180

It went off mid August, I've had several offers since then starting with 50% then 60% + £50 credit then it went back to just 60% - I've also had several phone calls with the best being £28 a month for the top bundle. I noticed a few days ago that my online account had no offers showing so I thought they had finally given up, then yesterday I received the 75% off any bundle email!

Just seen an add for Sky Cinema £9 for a month for 6 months.
Had been thinking about adding it to our package for the Xmas period so this has just made our minds up.

Today I received a letter from SKY inviting me to come back, in it they offered any package 75% off for 12 months.

Might sound good but it is not for me as it is too little too late. Over the past 25 years I have paid them thousands of pounds. Now I am well over £70 a Month better off and I am not missing SKY one bit.

So if you still want SKY and you do not want to pay any where full price, then cancel subscription and then sit back and wait, you will eventually get an offer like I did.

Spot on that. i waited just on 2 years got 60% off and £100 credit.
But not everyone can wait that long, it does not bother me.
I just think its the luck of the draw, when you get the deal, And if the deal is any good for you?.

yeah. my point is that the extra £100 makes a big difference to the price. the 15% difference between a 60% and 75% discount may not seem that much, but it would mean paying something like £9 a month instead of £15.20 a month for the £38 package on one room, as i think i'll cancel the second room where it's rarely used. i had 75% off in year 2 and paid about £8.25. last year i got multiroom added with 50% off the multi room and 60% and £100 cashback on the channels as it worked out that for about £38 i got a new second box and got the engineers to give me a new dish and rewire the cables in both rooms as the initial installers did a crap job and the cables kept falling out at both box and dish end. i fixed it multiple times but couldn't get it working in the end so needed a proper fix. at least i can use the second box to watch free channels as my old plasma was pre HD freeview

thanks. i'll maybe hold out. the xmas holiday time is the most likely time i would use it really. i'm offered 60% online with no credit, but aparently the black friday deals are coming up on 21st november, i'm not sure if that will affect it. i've not had anything through the door at all though, just checking online. i don't mind paying £8 or £9 a month for the little use i do, but much over a tenner doesn't seem worth it. the music channels are still all SD and sky arts is one channel instead of two, and those were the things i was most interested in

Went onto Sky's online chat today, using the 'considering my options' selection. Got £20pm off for 10 months. Didn't threaten cancellation, just said VM had a good offer.
Just did the same and got a 40% reduction for 10 months (total saving £238). It seems pretty clear that 40% is the ceiling unless you actually cancel, in which case they move on up to 60% if you proceed.

I was paying £92 for the full package, HD, movies, sport and extra box..

Phoned to cancel the lot as was going to move to BT, as they were offering 40% off to people who had broadband...

When I cancelled the offers page then flashed up offering me 50% off..

Then last week I had a call from Sky's "winback" team offering me 60%, which I accepted..

Renewed ours yesterday, best offer was 60% off on the my account part of the sky box. Then used live chat to sort it. It was 50% on the box/website/app up until a few days before cut off date.

Just tried to get my package reduced through the online chat and the most I got offered was 20% off, yet during the week I got an offer of 30% off so just went ahead with the cancellation and have since received a 50% off through the services app. Although my initial intention was to add cinema pack but nothing was to be done so still wondering whether just to accept the 50% and not bother with the cinema pack.

Reading the posts above, I'm definitely inclined to push ahead with a cancellation notice next month.

Would be happy with 50% off (as I have now), but if a 60% discount is possible, I might just sit out the 30 days as long as possible.

Currently got my unlimited Broadband on a free for 12months offer paying line rental, but am considering moving to another provider for Fibre, a couple of which are coming in cheaper than Sky.... unless they will offer me a discount on that too?

Multiple reports of 75% off deals ,some with cash credits as well, suggests strongly that Sky's policy of "accepting higher customer churn" has been replaced with "keep 'em at all cost!"

I'm currently getting the 75% and £100 Credit offer on the 'Left SKY in the last 12 months' part of the sky website.

Quite funny, as I also received a letter from them today offering 60% off.

Suffice to say, i'm seriously considering my options for re-subscribing at the moment!

I had the full package costing £80 pm.

At the start of last month I called up to cancel and was offered the same for £65. I turned this down.

When I went online to see if it had been actioned, I was offered 50% off for 12 months.

I thought about it, as this is the price I believe the service to be worth. But to be honest, I wasn't that bothered about Sky any longer, despite having it for 20+ years. So decided not to take the offer. I let it go and was switched off on November 2.

In the meantime I got a Now TV box with 6 months entertainment package for £19.99 as there are shows I'd like to keep watching on Sky Atlantic.

Sky then offered me 60% off for 12 months.

Today they offered 75% off for 12 months plus £100 bill credit. I've taken that as it is a good deal and I can use the Now Tv package in the spare room.

If you don't really care a great deal about subscribing, and let it lapse, it looks like you'll get a great deal.

i just got a call yesterday offering 75% off and £50 credit, which on the box sets worked out at £5.33 a month over 12 months once the credit is taken into consideration. rolling contract not 12 months. technically i could cancel after 5 months and pay nothing. the last i looked online it was just 60% no credit

it seems others were offered £100 credit but it seems they were on higher packages. i just took the boxsets and cancelled multi room

at little over a fiver a month i'm happy with that

I was on original bundle and got £100 credit plus 60% off so my sky would cost me nothing for a year but I have just taken on sky q silver so will now cost me £12 a month.

Just seen the offer on HUKD
Google 'come back to sky' click on 1st link, sign in and voila 75% off and £100 credit, so complete package is £20 before the £100 credit is applied

I'm considering rejoining although I was hoping for a Sky Q offer

You get the Sky Q box for free and can carry your discounts over. Just pay £12 a month for a mini box.
