So into the playoffs then. Patriots must be the favourites, although I wouldn't be massively surprised if the Steelers surprised them in the AFC Championship game.

In the NFC things are more competitive - be interesting to see just how these stellar rookies perform for Dallas now we are in the business end of the season. Green Bay have come into form at just the right time, and the Giants defence is doing wonders. It seems quite a few people are tipping Atlanta to do really well though. I wonder if the Seahawks have too many of their key components injured this year to be a realistic SB threat.

Mike McCoy at the Chargers and Chip Kelly( and GM Trent Baalke) at the 49ers have been sacked and Gary Kubiak will step down at the Broncos due to ill health

Looks like Chuck Pagano will get another season at the Colts

Browns have "achieved" the number 1 draft pick by losing in OT

Yesterday couldn't have gone much better for the Patriots. Securing the 1 seed with a comfortable win and seemingly escaping without any new injuries. Then sitting back and watching as Oakland's loss and KC's win means that the two biggest threats in the AFC (KC and Pittsburgh) now can't play the Pats until the Championship game.

You can't really ask for a better set of first round opponents than Houston, Miami and a Carr-less Oakland. Of course anything can happen in a one off game but that is a perfect draw

Revis' level of self-aggrandising is hilarious given he was awful this year- http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ion-with-class
Hope he shuts the door on his way out! 😂

Well I've got no confidence for the Raiders now in the playoffs. Bad enough to lose Carr but Matt McGloin is now injured and questionable for the wild card game

Would love to be wrong but I think their season ended with the Carr injury. Not only a ridiculously good talent but has clearly been a big leader for them this season. Not confident they can put up the numbers they need without him. Huge shame but hopefully he comes back stronger next year and they build on what's been an incredible season.

It's tough to see past the Patriots in the AFC now, don't see any of these teams beating them. I think it'll be the Pats and us (Steelers) in the Championship game with the Pats winning. I still fancy a Patriots/Giants Superbowl with Brady getting his revenge on Eli...really hoping I'm wrong.
