Maybe one 2016 playoff team out of that 8 (Baltimore and Miami battling for the 6 seed in the AFC), possibly none.

To go all Donald Trump for a second, they aren't sending their best people here.

Rams fire Fisher.. I think a necessary decision, albeit surprising timing
I agree even as a Titans fan although he was our coach during our best years (late 90,s fru early 00's) i thought he survived a whole lot than he deserved with Tennessee. There was no offensive spark at all after McNair he drafted poorly and i not surprised he did no better with the Rams.

London games-

September 24th or 1st October 2017 Baltimore Ravens vs. Jacksonville Jaguars; Wembley Stadium

September 24th or 1st October 2017 New Orleans Saints vs. Miami Dolphins; Wembley Stadium

22nd or 29th October 2017 Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns; Twickenham Stadium

22nd or 29th October 2017 Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams; Twickenham Stadium

Lets hear it for your Cleveland Browns, London!
As a Browns fan I am in two minds about this. Yes it will be great to see my team in the flesh, BUT although we surely will be a bit better next season, we are still likely to be a pretty useless team - and not especially keen on us embarrassing ourselves in London! If the Browns want to promote themselves internationally, surely it would have been better waiting until they have a product worth promoting?

Amazed he lasted 3 years:

Jacksonville fired Gus Bradley on Sunday after the team's 21-20 loss to the Texans.

The Jaguars have named Doug Marrone their interim coach for the remainder of the season.

Brutal day for AFC quarterbacks, with Mariota also out for the season and RGIII taking an absolute hammering and having to be taken off.

Anyway the Browns finally won!!!

What a horrible day for injuries

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett out for the season as well with what looked like a broken leg. No idea how he managed to hang onto the ball

Well happy for The Browns.

.. shame for Mariota and Carr in particular. You could see Mariotas snap ! I haven't watched the Carr and Lockett incidents...don't want to really!
I hope the Lions and Dolphins hold on to get a couple of new names for recent years in the play offs...

but Brady didn't get hurt and the Pats destroyed the Jets 41-3 to give me a Christmas present to remember

Isn't that like expecting socks for Christmas and getting them.

Pats winning their division, getting a 1 or 2 seed and making AFC Championship game is as certain as death and taxes.

No sky coverage, all direct from the USA. I know this one was exclusive to NFL network, but thought the sky sports guys would still be from studio.

The NFL network coverage is better, except their postgame shows, which are done with a load a fans there, and it's hard to hear over them.

I'm sure that Michael Irvin doesn't have a problem getting heard over anyone!

Was curious as to what they'd do about frequency of ads in the build up, but fortunately they've shown highlights and archive footage in the extra ones between scheduled Uk breaks.

Not a fan of Irvin, but the others are good

Broncos get eliminated with their loss at Kansas

Both of last season's Conference Champions don't make the play-offs. Must be a while since that happened

Cracking game at Pittsburgh with the Steelers grabbing victory with the last play of the game

Well worth catching up with the highlights

EDIT: Just saw that 2003 was the last time that both SuperBowl teams didn't make the play offs

Awesome game in Pittsburgh. Just caught up with Chiefs domination of broncos defence.

Only one play off place to be decided in final week. That must be quite unusual.

That makes things pretty dull then sadly. As a Browns fan it will be interesting to see if team Steelers rest a lot of their big names on Sunday and give us the chance to build on last week's win.

No-one seems to wait for the end of the season anymore

Looks like Tom Coughlin will be at the Jags

Wasn't he their 1st ever head coach when they started playing in 1996?

Organisations trying to get first (second or third) mover advantage.... I guess once a season is over in terms of getting to the play offs, some teams can give certain coaches a chance to step upand see how they handle the top job.. Also they can begin the replacement search well and have someone in place well in time for prepping for the draft...

Yes, I guess so.

Probably why Palace got rid of Pardew in our PL in case someone else snapped up Allardyce

I see that the Bills are going to start EJ Manuel at QB instead of Tyrod Taylor

Seems daft to me. Would be a great trade for a number of teams as there are certainly under-performing QB's at lots of teams

Just read up on Tom Coughlin as well. He was the Jags head coach 1995-2002

Yeah, I haven't seen enough of EJ Manuel, but clearly he wasn't good enough at the time, and Taylor is as mobile and fast as any qb in the league and offers a great extra dimension... Also seems pretty composed in the pocket.

Revis' level of self-aggrandising is hilarious given he was awful this year- http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ion-with-class
