Is that for a brand new mast? The boxes were put in about 5 months ago with a botom section of the antenna and the top part was added the other day.

I'm on iOS 10.2 beta 7 and just got a carrier update, 27.1 now.

I've just had a notification for iOS 10.2

The carrier update to 27.1 popped up straight after updating to 10.2 for me.

on the ee 800 thread someone just put on about not having 4g inside, but has now....

Incompetence mostly avoided. Yep VoLTE is set to default in the 27.1 carrier bundle. Could differ from your experience but that's what the raw setting is...

Strange because the people I've spoken to about the update say it's not default but there are clear settings for it in the 27.1 update.

It seems that if users have turned off their 4G or in any way changed that setting before, the default does not override it.

Should be on by default for 99% of users then. Only the people who have actually gone out of their way to turn it off won't be affected, makes sense I guess.

And people who've gone out of their way to change it can't really complain if it doesn't work

There are still live Orange code (33) HSDPA masts lurking around in full service where I live

Download: 2.20Mbps
Upload: 2.76Mbps

At least that's very usable. My 3G is always around 0.1-0.5M/bits

Yes its been upgraded to 4G in the last couple of weeks but the 3G untouched. It's on code 30 but the 3G isn't integrated into MBNL. Somtimes there is no throughtput. It's a legacy site with 6 antenna to make up 3 sectors.

They finally cleared out all of that overgrowth too! The site hasn't been touched for years but now lovely 4G. Managed 108Mbps so far!

Can someone help me on this? I go to gym on RG30 1PR and when inside from 4G it changes to GPRS. On one website I checked there should be one EE cell :EE 71290:SHELLGULF SHELL NORCOT (P1) (0.177759 km from rg301pr) but can not see it. Where is it i have no idea. The EE mast a bit further is 4G1800,3G and 2G but it is too far to get 2G full 5 bars inside the gym. Voda mast is much closer and only get 1/2 bars 3G900

Which website.. all data is quite old now.

Gyms usually have metalised windows and lots of metal foil isolation to keep the heat in at night and heat out during the day... so no degraded signal even if nearby.

Yes it is odd as getting inside EE 5 bars GPRS and do not know where it is coming from. Voda site is very close but only 1/2 bars 3G900. Web is http://www.mastdata.com/

Probably a hidden micro or macro cell. Have had a look and the sitefinder data says the site ref you provide is T-Mobile and it's 7 metres high. (this isn't always totally accurate but it's all we have to go on).
So if you look here you can see a cab against the post office wall. Clearly a cell there somewhere. My two guesses, either on the post office wall (there are some boxes there but I can't make them out on streetview) or it's hidden in the garage forecourt sign which I would estimate is about 7 metres.

Thanks Devon I pass by every day and will have a good look today again if I can find where this cell is. Unless it is hidden very well and can not see it. Also on the cab should have t-mobile sign yes? Do you think it can be upgraded to 4G by just adding new cabs without touching the cell?

If it's in the forecourt sign no, you won't see it.
Cab could have TM/EE on it but could be blank.

No doubt you'll complain to EE until they do

I mean you haven't.

The 800 I can pickup would appear to be coming from one of these testing masts. Very weak signal so I assume low power still.

I would go on a mighty quest to find its location but I cannot force band 20 on the Pixel

Depends. If it's to be just 2G/4G then yes.
If they want 3G The the antenna need to be capable of 1800/2100.
They may or may not be already.
