Depends. If it's to be just 2G/4G then yes.
If they want 3G The the antenna need to be capable of 1800/2100.
They may or may not be already.
i thought all the 1800 antennas did 2100 ?? No antennas changed around here for the B3 4G rollout, in fact on my mast some extra panels were removed. 2G/3G/4G.

As far as I know they do but I think some of the early ones didn't. Could be wrong.

Probably a hidden micro or macro cell. Have had a look and the sitefinder data says the site ref you provide is T-Mobile and it's 7 metres high. (this isn't always totally accurate but it's all we have to go on).
So if you look here you can see a cab against the post office wall. Clearly a cell there somewhere. My two guesses, either on the post office wall (there are some boxes there but I can't make them out on streetview) or it's hidden in the garage forecourt sign which I would estimate is about 7 metres.

There appears to have been an update to the 2G & 3G coverage maps. These have long been out of date.

There has been. Alton Towers now 5/5 2G and 4/5 3g when previously they were both poor.

Doubt it will ever get upgraded to 3G; probably just 2G/4G.

The fact it's hidden is why you haven't seen them isn't it. I mean that's the point of hiding things! : ) It's actually inside the structure of the sign. There are quite a few of these around.

That's easy. You said when you were in the gym you had 5 bars 2G but didn't know where it was from. Well now you know. If it had 3G as well you would be seeing perhaps 3-4 bars 3G in the gym but you aren't. So by that reckoning, it's 2G only.

I had just 1/2 bars 3G which often changes to full GPRS if I go further deep inside. I know 3G is weaker than 2G and was thinking thats why often changes

Thought I'd post about some 2600 to make a change from 800
https://imgur.com/a/Wm8wu
B3A+B7C went live in Manchester last week, as you'd expect starting with the masts most in need of capacity. eNb 12642 (Trafford House) is live, which covers Manchester United and Lancashire Country Cricket Club amongst other things. eNb 12847 (printworks) is also live, covering part of the Arndale Centre, Manchester Arena, Victoria train station, Deansgate and others.
Good to see EE keeping to there word and continuing to expand B3A+B7C, while continuing 800MHz rollout.

Edit: Also on one site I found priorities a little different to normal. I think it used to be B20 priority 4, EE 3G priority 3 and Orange 3G priority 2? I guess it's just general house keeping, and doesn't change much?

Currently;
B7 15MHz Priority 7
B7 20MHz Priority 6
B3 20MHz Priority 6
B20 5MHz Priority 5
EE 3G Priority 4
Orange 3G Priority 3

O2 have added 4G to the area recently so I thought I'd check out the signal and compare with the performance of EE on my phone. 4G wise, it was pretty much the same as far as the signal strength is concerned, although it did cling onto the signal when I went downstairs whereas my EE phone dropped down to 3G. However, I got 80 Mpbs down in my parents room and 17 Mbps vs 25 down (I can't remember the upload) on the O2 phone. Downstairs it was 6 Mbps down on O2 vs about 28 Mbps down on EE which even I was surprised about as I really struggle to get 4G in the living room. 3G signal strength was also similar yet I had just over 3 Mbps up yet my Mum's phone could only manage 0.5 Mpbs. Uploads were about 0.2 Mbps up on both but the signal strength wasn't overly great. O2 managed a full 2G signal yet EE's was fluctuating between 1 and 3 bars. I get a full 2G signal upstairs though.

The point is that O2's coverage now seems almost equal to, if not slightly better than, EE's in my house, yet EE are clearly far better as far as performance is concerned. The masts aren't in exactly the same location so it's not a completely fair test, but it does make me wonder how much difference the frequencies really make. Obviously if the nearest O2 mast was much closer than the nearest EE one you'd expect it to be far better anyway, and vice versa. Using this: https://www.daftlogic.com/projects-g...calculator.htm I've just quickly looked at the distance my house is from the nearest EE and O2 masts in Retford and there isn't much in it, although differing locations mean other factors may affect the signal differently.

So how much of an advantage, coverage wise, do EE have over O2 and Vodafone thanks to the the frequencies used by the latter two?

Lots of the 3350 B7 masts have changed to that priority. The one serving my house went about a month ago. Guess they don't want them sucking people in off all of the 1800 around. Does look like the 800/3G changes are just housekeeping though.

Network Signal Guru, requires root and a Qualcomm modem, but well worth it.

The next question has to be which phone are YOU using?
