Made a VOLTE call on 800 MHz earlier. iPhone 6S Plus at Gypsy Hill station in south London. Can't be too long to an official announcement surely...?
Nice, 800mhz near me still isn't VoLTE active yet.

Can you go into Data Only mode in Mobile Data options and see if it still connects?

I'll be there again later in the week so if I remember I'll give it a go!

I've had troubles with the aforementioned mast for quite a while now.

On the train to Leicester, you always get put on this Prange mast as MBNL 3G is rather weak, to put it mildly. (Orange 3G isn't much stronger, due to the terrain of the track.)

Recently (for the last month or so), this Orange mast has no throughput whatsoever in terms of data. As soon as you connect to it, Tunein stops working, due to lack of data.

It's rather annoying, to put it mildly.

Hopefully EE can fix this dodgy Orange mast!

4 masts have gone VoLTE live in Herefordshire (let's see if it stays that way!).

Ridge Hill (Big TV Transmitter)
Mast near Leadon Way, Ledbury
Alexander Park, Ledbury
Shucknall Hill, Hereford.

Just did a test call to 150 from work and it stayed on 4G on my iPhone 6S Plus.

Based in Northampton if that helps anyone.

Go to Settings > General > About and then press on Carrier. Will change to IMS Status Voice & SMS which will confirm you are on VoLTE.

As Jon has already stated, I think there's going to be a big rollout of VoLTE in the next few weeks to allow the 800mz rollout crack on!

I am really hoping it does something for where I live in Duston seeing 2 to 3 bars 4G but getting less than 3mbit is depressing (this is indoors and outdoors).

The iPhone 4G setting in mobile data does have to be set to Enable 4G > Voice & Data for VoLTE to work.
On data only calls fall back to 2G or 3G in my office just now.

VoLTE live in Nottingham, seems to be a mass switch on.

Wifi Call to 4G worked fine too.

[edit]

Messed with the mobile data setting and now VoLTE seems to be gone again.

[edit]

Now my phone won't connect to either Wifi Calling or VoLTE, strange.

Seems to be gone again here, or at least on my mast. Wifi Calling is back though at least.

Is VoLTE still only working on iPhone's?

Are all these VoLTE calls happening on 1800MHz LTE?

It worked for a short while in Plymouth over the weekend and now it's gone again. However the rollout will need to be accelerated greatly as we know because at the current rate it would take years to roll out

Just iPhones at the mo I think.
Most on 1800Mhz. Will eventually be on all bands.
From what I can tell it's live across the whole network now. It's just you can only set up calls on specific sites. I can't make a 4G call on my mast but I can transfer a WiFi call to it and carry on on 4G voice until hang up.
Also calls can start on an active call set up site and then handover to over multiple sites continuously until either hang up or SRVCC to 3G.

VoLTE seems to be back again, guess it's a little flakey at the moment.

VoLTE working in South Manchester today.

Now if I could just get an 1800 MHz power boost or some 800 MHz so I could actually use my phone indoors...

My phone has stopped picking up VoLTE again, doesn't seem to keep the connection. I'm hoping once it's officially rolled out here the connection will stabilise.

Are the systems running VoLTE and Wifi Calling linked? As of this morning where I've started to pick up VoLTE, my Wifi Calling is taking a long time to activate, could them messing with VoLTE cause the Wifi Calling service not to establish?

Second this! 2G 1800 EDGE full strength in the office where 4G 1800 is non existent from the same mast. Frustrating.

Exact same for me. I found that if I have a strong signal then wifi calling is stubborn to start. A way around it I've found is to put the phone in airplane mode, enable wifi so that wifi calling will then enable and then turn off airplane mode so that it picks up a mobile signal.

wifi calling is stubborn to start today, just tried joemcd suggestion and it works. Then made a test call starting on wifi calling, turned off the wifi on my iphone and it handed the call to 4g seamlessly.
