Have a look at these posts earlier in the thread - they should explain it.

Carr house flats is off. No sign of new panels. Maybe they will hope 800 will render it unnecessary (EE doing it on the cheap)

Unlikely. Probably just a fault.

I have a data SIM that I picked up on a special offer earlier this year - £15 for 25GB on a 30 day contract.

I use it as my primary broadband connection and usually get through at least another 20GB in add-ons each month, so the total bill is usually £45+.

I got a text today offering to upgrade me to 64GB for £28 a month, albeit on a 12 month contract. Sounded like a bloody bargain to me, so called in and went for it.

I actually got it for £25.20 a month, as I was lucky enough to get one of those brilliant CS guys you sometimes get who just make the whole process so much better (and he applied an extra 10% loyalty discount... )

£25.20 for 64GB - I'm happy with that! ”

That's an awesome deal, I wonder why they offered you so much data for so little money?

Was it because you've had to buy data add ons in the past, so this would be better for you? Was it because you've been a loyal customer? Or is it so that they can expand their offerings to include large data allowances?

I thought that my 16GB PAYM mobile SIM for £20 was a great deal, but if I ever see a 64GB MBB SIM for £25.20, I'll snap that up! Seeing as though my EE mast is going 4G soon, that'll render my Virgin Media Superhub obsolete!

I really need ring up think £26 a month is bit to much specially when I'm not using anywhere near my data limit.

I hope that the 64GB at £28 becomes a publicly available product soon. I may have a reason to need a data SIM later this year, and 64GB would be lovely.

Nothing on EE status and or via tech support. I've gone from 5 dots to 2 but my 3G speed has increased massively to 1mb down, up from a whopping 0.02 crappy copper backhaul.

Is 800mhz being launched in 2016? I ask this because of the coverage GIF: http://ee.co.uk/content/dam/everythi..._gif_final.gif which states that by the end of 2016, coverage will be at 63% Geo and 97% Pop. If 800mhz was being switched on this year, surely it would be more than that considering we are at 60% geo and 96% population now?

i would like to know why clicking on the links lately, they go to zenaps.com or ad.doubleclick.net rather than going to the site given. links wont load unless i copy/paste. zenapps and the others are blocked for me as they are spammy ad sites.

Try turning it off and try the links again, links are all working properly for me.

I get the same here. And it's not as if I can disable it as I'm on a corporate network and it's blocked by the firewall.

Some links just close again straight away for me. I just right click, then chose 'open in new tab'.

If it's forwarding legit links to spammy ad sites it's not something I would be relying on for protection...

It's more like rather than leaving a key in your car you are giving a spare key to a known car thief.

Well, something's happened!

4G signal strength now 67%/68%, so 2 or 3 bars (-91dBm/-92dBm). Nice improvement over the 50% that I had a couple of days ago, and the very small % that I had before the water tower mast went 4G.

Speeds? 26Mbps down and 37Mbps up! This is much better (in terms of upload) and suggests that my local mast has gone 4G. Though downlink might be capped to single speed at the moment?

3G from the local mast (signal strength still nice and high) is still between 15Mbps and 20Mbps downlink, and 2.2Mbps uplink.

GSM from the local mast is now EDGE instead of GPRS, so an improvement there too, though I still won't use it!

Overall, a success! Our mast is upgraded!

Relative signal strengths:

EDGE: -69 dBm
HSPA: -81 dBm
LTE: -91 dBm

VoLTE working in Barnsley, first time I've noticed it here.

Edit: Now it's not working, must be between two masts or something, one with VoLTE and the other without maybe.
