Walls do a bloody good job of blocking signal, until last week I'd get five bars in the garden, yet indoors it's down to 2 bars, and in places on the ground floor "No Signal" - and a network scan shows only EE and my housemates on Three and Vodafone have the same issues - the basement has always been no signal with no networks found on a scan, but WiFi Calling does work down there. Since I got a software update which enabled LTE I do however get two bars, more than likly LTE-800 as the RF modulator output from my EE TV Box is now littered with interference (it's up in the 60s somewhere - so LTE band)”
Thanks for that Kev. I'm not a long way down you see. I am using the phone now (5.35am) and I get two out of five bars on the signal. From here I can see the steps and the morning sky above, I guess I am about twelve feet down from the road. There is also some scaffolding on the house to the right that could be an aggravation?
The router worked pretty well Sunday night when I was up late and it was still working Sunday morning. Since then it has been shutting down soon as you turn it on. It has always been left charging so four green bars, fact it won't work if switched off at the wall. So I sat by it just now watching what it does and the four lights turn to one red flashing light and it shuts down, like it is out of power except I don't see how.
