Cadbury discontinues Time Out bar!
The 32g mutli-snack bar consisting of two fingers will be scrapped in favour of a new slimline single-finger version called Time Out Wafer, which only weighs 21.2g

The first version was more substantial, weighing 50g. It was later reduced to 41g and then 32g. The Time Out Wafer will be 21.2g.
They really are starting to take the biscuit now.

Since we sold our Cadbury to foreigners, the taste, size and quality has changed for the worse. I no longer buy and make my own chocolate.

So...they're not discontinuing it at all then, just making it smaller. Good click-bait thread title, OP!
Okay so they're changing it slightly but come on, its pretty much the same thing only smaller. |

Well they have pretty much got rid of the Time Out we all knew and loved since 1992.. always nice with a cup of tea. A flattened one finger version with more wafer and less chocolate just isn't the same.
![]() But it gets worse... As a result of the change, 222 people at Cadbury Ireland have lost their jobs, with production moving to Poland It's awful what Kraft has done to the once greatest British chocolate manufacturer in the world.. now it's one of the worst. |

Well just as I suspected, man in suit lies. They said they would always produce Cadburys chocolate in the UK but only a few years later some of it is produced in Poland.
And they have probably avoided paying over £20 million in tax. |

Not interested in Cadbury's now - it used to be lovely.. now it tastes like cheap dog chocolate and use palm oil - doubly not interested!
Fookin' hell. they sold to Kraft for £11.9bn. |

This makes me very sad. I have loved time out bars for over 10 years. Bought and tried the new version last night.
They now taste like Blue Ribband! (Nothing against blue ribbands) but a timeout had a distinctive taste and it is now gone. How do we go about campaigning for them to bring back proper Time Outs?
