It will be on in Q4 Oct-Dec where it's recently resided.
Don't know when it's filmed but I suspect it could be May-July since applications closed way back in Jan. |

Estimated Start Date: Wednesday 12th October 2016
Estimated End Date: Wednesday 21st December 2016 Double bill for the first two episodes on Wednesday 12th & Thursday 13th October possibly? Run for 12 weeks as usual. Hopefully we will have 20 candidates again this year like Series 10. |

Filming started yesterday or the day before. Looks like there might be 18+ candidates again which really disappoints me.

2015 was odd as some candidates did get lost in the edit, but 2014 handled even more candidates very well and nobody got so notably shoved aside. |

I find it stupid having so many candidates, as too many get lost in the edit as you said, and we're left with a Final Five who we feel we don't really know, which is very underwhelming.
This show is actually beginning to annoy me along the same lines that BB does, I'm sorry to see. It's just too gimmicky and the candidates are portrayed as idiots which I hate. |

Anyway, I still love watching it however formulaic it is, because I treat it as a game show, albeit with a business-base which makes it far more interesting than most reality shows. |

Well I think I want to re-watch Series 11 to reassess if I am dissatisfied with the current state of the show or not.

It has become a game show. The tests which may have had some relevance for people joining Sugar's organisation are largely irrelevant for the setting up of a new business (e.g. inventor Tom who failed most of them and still won). You don't have to be a star at selling or buying or advertising or branding to set up a new business, provided you are good at what you do and have something to offer. You can hire in the specialist skills as you develop.
On the tests, I'm not sure you don't have it the wrong way round. For setting up a new business, the more the candidates can do themselves, the less they have to pay other people to fill the gaps in the early stages when cash is tight. For joining established companies, it is less important to be an all-rounder since they will have specialists in sales, design, manufacture or whatever. The template followed by Lord Sugar (or Sir Alan) in the early series was to judge solely on sales, but just before the final he'd remember he was not looking for a salesperson at all and hire the quietly competent candidate. |

It used to be a gameshow, it's now basically improv comedy.

It has become a game show but that is mainly down to the unimaginative production team aping Big Brother.

OK, just one example but that's what I had in mind when I made my earlier post. |

Well I expect the new series to start when the GBBO finishes, which has just started. Probably in 10 weeks.
They may still be filming the later stages. |

Are we sure the apprentice is happening this Autumn as there's been no signs of filming, have there? Usually there's some sightings of them selling something in London in the spring or early summer, maybe I just missed it but I think it might be going back on maybe spring of next year, there was over a year gap between filming the last time the olympics and all was on in the summer and
