Does anyone know anything about Three PAYG, and the two things they are trumping the most at the moment?

Wifi calling and SuperPumped signal. Are both of these available on PAYG?

I do realise you need a phone from Three for the latter...... what is the cheapest one that will do the job?

This http://www.three.co.uk/discover/network/4g-supervoice

They are advertising it as 'super pumped' on some posters in town.

Except for the IPhone 6 - which does it on standard firmware

Phones sold by three are very expensive compared with the same model sim free phones sold at Amazon or Argos.

But is the difference really worth it to get three’s wifi calling and Superpumped voice.

But then again you can buy a phone at three and not have to worry about the cost of unlocking it if you move to another network at a later date.

Possibly, for me, yes. I think it might give me coverage in at least one place I currently don't have it

It obviously depends how big the difference is though.

The wifi calling app is designed for use when the mobile signal is poor but you have wifi access. It works on most phones - even on my Doogee X5 - even though as an Android dual-sim phone, three claim that it should not. I guess they are improving it all the time. It's handy for me as my home happens to be in a marginal signal area, precisely the place where I have the best wifi.
