The Doctor Blake Mysteries
Caught the end of this on BBC2 today. Didn't know it was back on. The Beeb seems to have had fun shuffling seemingly random episodes on 1 and 2 every now and then. It's an excellent Australian drama and I hope the BBC can just leave it on, in the right sequence for long enough to enjoy!

They had a proper run last year with series 3, followed by 1 and 2 repeated in sequence.
This run just seems to have been shoved in to fill a gap in the schedule. |

I think this is the thread most recently commented on:
The Doctor Blake Mysteries … It also got mentioned in a couple of sidetracks on the 'A Place to Call Home' thread. |

This run just seems to have been shoved in to fill a gap in the schedule. They showed S3 just before Christmas and then repeated S2 Ep1-7 before breaking for (some twaddle or other). They are now showing S2 Ep 8-10, and next week: S1. Yes, I know that they have been on before (the little R in the listings gives that away), but I didn't see them. tim |

The BBC scheduler needs to be sectioned under the mental health act.
3 episodes of series 2, then go back to series one. I rest my case. At this rate series 3 & 4 wont be seen here |

I have started this on Sky+ now No Place Like Home has finished, something to watch over the weekend, have seen a couple of these before over a weekend I think on Alibi, but will stick with BBC 2 as there is no adverts, and hopefully start at the beginning.
But liking it so far after 1st episode |

Series 4 is currently running in Australia and someone on the Facebook page claims they contacted the BBC to ask when it will be shown here and they've been told the spring so these repeats could be in advance of that.

I managed to catch this show by accident a few weeks ago and I was amazed to Nadine Garner as I don't think I've seen her in anything since she was in Boys From The Bush in the 90s!

Is there an open thread for the new series that's just aired, I can't find it if there is.
