Rosa:- You were one of my favourites during the play offs. This song suited your voice very well, and would be a record that you would release. What I would look for in the future is find that song, where you can put your individual stamp and sound on. Good start though

The show kicks off with Rose performing what can only really be described as an average song choice at best. Look there is no denying that this song does suit you Rose but my problem is that its a song that could’ve been chose within a matter of minutes, maybe even seconds. You need to have songs which are a bit unexpected but play to the R&B strength that is in your vocal. Artists like Tinashe and Jhene Aiko are just examples of the type of songs you should be singing than something quite plain and unoriginal. Its a nice start but your mentor needs to go and find you something that has some form of originality to it.*

Rosa, I liked it. While I admit it wasn't the most original choice (I'm kicking myself for not picking Babooska >.<) it was still nice. I feel you have lots of potential so I hope the public support you.

Linda:- I love you as a singer, you are just so incredibly understated. I wanted to pick a song tonight which allowed you to stand out, but where you could really tell the story of the song through its lyrics. It was a totally different arrangement to the original song, and I think it showed the serenity which your voice has. Well Done!

Darlos:- That was quite literally boring, and had no thought put into it whatsoever. Incredibly disappointed that this was picked as the first song to introduce you on live show 1 - you could be in big trouble tonight.

Ruth - This isn't anything like your voice Ruth, and I quite frankly just can;t picture you singing this, more effort needed to pick these songs. This is a cliche "talent show" song choice, which is very poor indeed. I was looking something with passion. conviction and attitude, tonight was not that. More effort is needed

So this was pretty darn terrible for you Ruth as this person seems to have just gone with a generic cover of a classic song, it just doesn’t suit you at all really and on top of that it was one of the dullest performances I’ve heard. I’m fairly certain somewhere in the world you’ve put a few coffee addicts to sleep. This forum loves you but you need to come out with more original songs than that. You’ve got a great rock edge and powerhouse vocal behind you that makes you something interesting compared to others and on top of that you’ve got a massive fanbase on this forum who would vote for you in a second. If your mentor gives you the right songs you are a contender but until he does you’re just fodder.

Mollie:- Mollie, you are what I describe as a "special talent" - I just adore you as an artist, you have what I call star quality! You don;t have the biggest voice in the competition, but its powerful, and very compelling to listen, you can belt a song, but can then bring it down to more tender moments. That is the sign of a terrific artist. I think you could offer alot in this competition throughout the coming weeks.

Stevie:- I have heard better song choices in scottish karaoke bars, and that is the truth! I truly horrific song choice, just when you think some of these song choices can't get much worse. I'm sorry I may have had my songs in late, but i made sure i searched for the best song for my acts! The best part of that was the pipes. NEXT - you could be in serious trouble

First off never choose another reality show contestant for your contestant and if you are going to do that by lord pick a better band than the freaking McDonald Brothers. You’ve got a good set of pipes on you and the ability to really connect emotionally to the songs you’re given, however singing a song that makes my ears bleed isn’t helping you here. You’re a soft rocker who could do wonders performing songs by the likes of Prides and Twin Atlantic but songs like this are just going to leave you going belly up and failing completely and have you leaving the competition in a matter of weeks, maybe even tonight.

The GB's - It was simply just to generic and unmemorable in terms of song choices tonight it may be one of the slightly better ones but that isn't saying much. You didn;t stand out compared to the other boybands that currently exist. It was very amateurish. I would love at looking at maybe slightly more indie pop songs, maybe by Hurts
