Well, since they need Strictly to stay relevant, I'm not surprised they'd time it like that.

Such a shame the way it ended for the Jordan's - consumed with their own bitterness and sense of self importance. Hopefully they at least show a little class and won't throw their fellow pros or ex partners under the bus.

After ITT gave Ola a nice interview on the couch with Zoe, talking about her leaving the show, I thought things might quieten down. It looks like she wasn't worth that sort of respect after all.

Yeah me too.

I suppose we should wait to see what's in it before criticising too much. The papers will hype it up a bit. Apparently one of the 'scandalous couplings she will lay bare' will be Natasha & Brendan, which happened well before she was even on the show.

And which we all knew about anyway!

The Jordans have been much quieter on Instagram and Twitter of late. I wonder if they have learned from the mistakes of others? I went off James hugely when he started bad mouthing the show and, sadly, I've gone off Ola a bit if this rumour about the book is true. In their defence, I would say at least that they always seem to me to be genuinely in love and supportive of each other.

That pair have no class and its only by hanging on to Strictly that they get any attention at all.
I won't be buying this ghost-written garbage and I hope it will sink like a stone after one week.

Horrible, fame-hungry, media-whores the pair of them.

I can see this book dominating the headlines this series like the 'Ola claims Strictly is fixed' furore did last year.

Really dislike the X-Factorisation of Strictly in the media.

I'm guessing the Jordans' 'post Strictly' career as zelebs hasn't taken off, so desperate times call for desperate measures - in this case, a tacky 'tell-all' book! *rolleyes*

Just checked Ola’s Twitter account and she’s said nothing at all about a book, just expressed sadness about the passing of Paul Daniels which I thought was touching. I hope very much it’s an untrue rumour as I would quite like to stay liking Ola!

Yup! I won't waste my money on it, however its my birthday in September so I have no problem if others waste their money buying it for me I do hope it's a better read than Kristina's one (i didn't spend my money on that either )

I don't understand why people are judging Ola and her proposed book so harshly . I was never a fan of the Jordans but I find it interesting to read what any ex pro says about the show.

Do the judges manipulate results . I'm still not sure but after the Peter and Janette vs Jamilia and Tristan dance off fiasco, plus finding out that the Judges rehearse their critiques with a producer present, I'm finding it hard to believe they're judgements are impartial .

To be fair, by the very act of giving scores at all the judges are 'manipulating the score' . Also from a few years on DS, manipulating the scores can also translate as 'scoring someone I don't like higher than someone I do'

If there is a book, I'm can see it being 'explosive' only in the mind of Mr Jordan and the Tabloid headline writers. Bet it won't be a patch on Robin's off the cuff video whoopsie

It depends what the motivation behind the writing and publication of the book is. In this case James and Ola have both criticised the show and if the article is to be believed (and of course there's a question mark there) she would be revealing details of other people's private affairs which she has no business doing. With Ola and James it's always gossip about others, never themselves.

Regarding criticisms of the show format Strictly made the Jordan's household names so them using the Strictly brand to sell the book whilst at the same time badmouthing the show is shoddy and sour grapes. I doubt there'll be any big revelations about the judges scoring and voting.

A real shame if Ola goes down this route as the book will overshadow everything she achieved in ten years hard work on Strictly.

Whether it had or hadn't taken off, doesn't matter, it would not have influenced the timing of the release of a book. That's just good marketing sense.

"After quitting last year she branded judge Craig Revel Horwood “childish and pathetic”

She wasn't far wrong there.

Her husband James, 37, has also spoken out against the show and slammed judge Bruno Tonioli for his “tacky” behaviour saying Strictly had become a “pantomime”.

Well, he was never the sharpest knife in the box, it's always been a bit of a pantomime. Everyone already knew that.

While the tabloids made out the judges watching the dress rehearsal with a producer and preparing comments was a shocking revelation I'd always expected they saw the routines to prepare for the main show (and Len needs time to come up with those puns). It's live TV and their comments have to be quick and concise. What is obvious is when there's loads of mistakes in a routine and the judges don't alter what they say, effectively discussing the one they saw earlier!

I've always been interested to know just how the judges were to be kept in the dark until show time. I image the judges in a locked room huddled round a portable tele surreptitiously watching It Takes Two.

Last year, Robin visited an office for some reason and was asked a number of Strictly related questions - which were filmed by one of the office workers and put on YouTube. It being Robin, it was all done very nicely but he let slip a number of tit bits, including the Powers that Be not being happy with Ola over the whole knee injury issue and that the pros don't get much say in the music/costume choices. It vanished fairly quickly

Tuning in to Waite's Wednesday Warm Up in a broom cupboard somewhere, love that image

Brilliant I can just imagine Robin ever so politely revealing the juicy gossip.
