Poor old Victoria, I thought she was going to be fantastic in Strictly.

Ditto and ditto! He will be excellent. I wondered why he had been relatively quiet of late. Good for him.

So happy for Jay. I agree this seems like the ideal role for him.

He seems such a nice guy and he so deserves this.

Totally agree. I can see him dancing on top of the floor piano. Love that movie.

He is made for the part. The piano part will be amazing. Given Jay's massive popularity I am sure this one will be a sell out.

I am not a theatre person, will make an exception for Jay. I have only seen a few plays.

If there is anyone worth making an exception for it's Jay

She's also given an interview to The Sun. I'm extremely surprised that her agent has suggested she has anything to do with that tawdry rag, especially given the news this week.

I'm not defending The Sun, but that particular interview would have been given before anything that has happened this week.

Indeed.

Just looked this up. Complete with 'glamma model' pose on the mag cover I see. Someone is giving her really bad advice.

Extremely bad. It's a vile excuse for a newspaper. I think she can say good bye to whatever support she may have had in Liverpool.

It seems that it's not only Georgia who has used this particular magazine as a means of talking about their Strictly experience... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...over-star.html

It's certainly very bad timing to be on the front cover of the Sunday magazine. Part of the deal for earlier favourable coverage perhaps? An interview given a while ago that's been held back? Only going on the headline (and I won't be reading the rest) but why would she want to rake over all that again in public. Be together. Be happy. Look to the future . . . and pay more consideration to how you want to present yourself in photoshoots.

I love Anita's cover photo. Fierce. A woman who I admire and see as a great role model for my daughters.

'Secret husband'. Hilarious! Wishing to be private about your relationship does not mean you are keeping your partner a secret, I realise it's just a sensationalist headline however.

I think we know the answer to that.

Very disappointed in Anita Not so surprised about the other one but I would have thought she would share our views on that rag.

Found Anita's full interview, it's quite extensive and she comes across well, shame it was for The Sun. Perhaps she agreed to do it as part of promotion for the Strictly tour, it was published in January and the link for tour tickets is given at the end.

If you're issuing a purdah on every single Strictly contestant who has ever done an interview with The Sun ever, it'll be a long long list...

A very close family friend died at Hillsborough. Perhaps I have too emotional a view but I'm afraid that newspaper disgusts me.

Very true. Jay probably has with The Wanted, many of my other favourites too over the years. Georgia's timing is simply unfortunate. I don't like the nature of previous coverage The Sun have given her, the cover photo and the headline has me running for the hills so I would avoid even if it wasn't The Sun.
