I thought Helen had a good attitude towards it all through her comments in that interview I posted recently. She's honest that the level of the negativity shocked her to begin with and that it has made her more wary, but doesn't resort to personal insults and seems philosophical about the darker side of social media.
She's obviously used to media attention and doing lots of publicity for CTM but it must be very different going from being part of what she describes as feeling like a rep company and being interviewed about your character's plotlines, being recognised as Trixie, to putting yourself out there as yourself and suffering personal criticism. She is very professional though and as we've said before knows how to maintain her privacy.
It was lovely to see her at the Baftas presenting and up on stage with the Strictly team. I keep looking for all the snippets I can find about the filming of the new CTM series
