She'll do well I should think, depending on the catalogue or brand, and I'm glad to see she's working.

Totally agree - they probably all looking amazing first thing in the morning without any make-up on, just like me.

Lucky you, Lou. I need a nose job and might get there.

Thanks, Ochre. I think you and I are in the minority with Fearne's dress. I thought it suited her personality. She looked stunning.

She probably was wise to keep quiet about the break up in the circumstances - luckily perhaps the tabloids show little interest in her.
I suppose this is one advantage of not being a household name as yet !

The term bed head was invented for me I think Sarah and I rock the crumpled sheet face look!

I think the reason the tabloids leave her alone is more down to the fact that she doesn't put herself out there.

Quite! She has the right balance - her private life is her private life and she doesn't need or want to cash in on it. Sensible person in my book.

In the circumstances? As if you have any idea as to the reasons why Helen and her husband decided to separate

No it's not as if she's played one of the main characters on one of the BBC's most popular TV shows for a few years. Is this really because she presented at the TV Baftas and was on stage with the Strictly team? Lol . . . As I said earlier in the week Georgia looked amazing on the Red Carpet and has had lots of media coverage on her look for the Baftas. She isn't on TV at the moment though.

Which is odd and probably not true given her line of work, especially after taking part in Strictly and the tour which is what most actresses do to build their public profile.

If she was just interested in her theatrical work and nothing else she could easily have refused the invitation to do Strictly and hoped to work on other projects during the break in filming the TV series she is in.

It would help if the poor girl didn't always have that rabbit in the headlights look when making public appearances - it makes one very nervous for her.

I agree. I always like lots of dresses off the 'worst dressed' lists I liked Eleanor Tomlinson's medieval style gown too and thought the green set off her red hair beautifully.

Excuse me Lou, you're not stealing my bed head crown

Currently rocking Mum jeans . . . Or 'Mom jeans' as the DM described Alesha's.

You can choose to put yourself out there professionally without turning your personal life in to a reality show.

I saw her appearance on Strictly as cross publicity for both BBC shows, Strictly and Call the Midwife. Hoping to see Laura Main next as she was really good on CIN Strictly.

Helen looked beautiful and at ease at the Baftas

Maybe she did want to build her public profile but only workwise?? I would say it is true as she doesn't put her life out there on social media.

I find that the people who use social media are the ones the press pick up on, maybe Helen doesn't want to go down that route. It might be okay for some but not everyone feels the same re social media.

Yes lovely and very natural looking - but do you have a still of her actually presenting ?

She had that same wild eyed expression we often saw in the result shows in Strictly - what was sad is that there were so few shots of her with the Strictly crew after the actual ceremony !

This years 'celebs' seemed to have made such great friendships for the most part !

Agree completely with this, I think some people are social media savvy and some people are not believe or not some celebrities really do like to keep their private lives just that private, many people love social media sites and posting every second of their relationship and obviously they should have a gut instinct that DM are going to pick up on it, where as others prefer to not post every detail of their lives but just some photos letting fans in to their world i.e. Appropriate holiday pictures for example on a trip to Venice

Ha! Totally off topic but I have to applaud the DM for the photos of the Invictus Games and I have to confess to a small crush on Prince Harry (don't tell my hubby).

As I said earlier, when the interview to Helen was linked up ^^^^ there, it is such a shame that a cast even those working on the show said was the closest knit bunch they had ever had still has to be hinted/insinuated to be at loggerheads just to give some sort of storyline structure and which leads to really rather childish social media fan warz.

Personally, I think Helen has a lovely, interesting and expressive face*. She might not be conventionally beautiful, but in acting (especially for women, sadly) sometimes just 'beautiful' can be a bit career limiting when it comes to that 'certain age'. - 'interesting' might just lead to juicer parts!

(* just for clarification, this is in no way a slur/slight/hint that any other Strictly participant past or present looks like the back end of a bus)

Humility is a great virtue, Lou. I am the opposite, after a nose job, with a lovely dress and a good stylist, I am sure I can give the plastic ones, run for their money, Only in my dreams. Also most of the pictures now are photoshopped. I am sure we can sharpen my nose and iron your face,

I see it's groundhog day again. Posts deleted again. I just keep the distance.

I did, I thought she came over very well. I like her honesty.

I recently discovered the editing facility on my iphone (I am a technological luddite) and have now realised that I can look marginally less hideous than usual with some clever editing And yes, groundhog day. Yawn.

Lovely post, she's such a beautiful lady and yet the same very personal criticisms of her appearance were repeated again and again throughout the series. Interesting and expressive is a perfect description. I hope she will have real career longevity

I agree with both of you. I couldn't understand the personal criticisms of Helen's looks at all, I think she's beautiful. But, more importantly, why criticise the way someone looks at all? We are the way we are and it seems unnecessarily unkind to point out perceived flaws in someone's appearance.
