Vincent and Flavia
interviewed in the Aberdeen Evening Express (there are some beautiful photographs from The Last Tango).
Vincent: “We’ve got an opportunity to make maybe a TV show and so on”.
“We would like to do a dance film because there’s not many dance films at the moment."
“I want to do something really wacky, really engaging to the audience with a beautiful story, beautiful costumes."
“We’re talking to a couple of film producers."
“At the moment we don’t have the time. We’ve been TV stars, West End stars, I want to be a movie star now.”
“We would love to perform . . . But if it comes to a bigger project working with top actors then I wouldn’t mind just getting involved directing and choreographing.”
“We have already told producers that we want to do a new show for next year. We definitely won’t be touring as much as this. It will be something much smaller, but it is an opportunity.
“We do love it, I have to say.”
Please let both of these happen!
Flavia on Strictly and still being friendly with some of the celebs . . .
“I married Jimi so that was a success."
“I’m very good friends with Russell Grant. He’s one of my best buddies. We’re constantly in touch, texting, messaging, all sorts of things . . . Louis Smith as well – I sent him a good luck message for his training not long ago. Edwina Currie always comes to see us on tour. There’s several we keep in contact with.”
“Being dancers we’re not used to that sort of attention.”
“So you get employed as a professional dancer on the TV show but you don’t really understand the consequences of it at that time."
“But we’re very grateful for the opportunity.”
