He has indeed! I really hope we see a bit more of Gleb's personality during the show. I think he was a bit over-powered by the "interesting" choreography and was known for that more than anything.

That's a big reason I'm so pleased he's doing Masterchef, to give him the chance to show something more of himself (no double entendres intended . . . I'm sure there are plenty of cooking ones we can use when the show starts though).

I've been looking at Gleb's Instagram account this morning, his daughter is a cutie and he looks a very loving dad and husband.

Vincent and Flavia interviewed in the Aberdeen Evening Express (there are some beautiful photographs from The Last Tango).

Vincent: “We’ve got an opportunity to make maybe a TV show and so on”.

“We would like to do a dance film because there’s not many dance films at the moment."

“I want to do something really wacky, really engaging to the audience with a beautiful story, beautiful costumes."

“We’re talking to a couple of film producers."

“At the moment we don’t have the time. We’ve been TV stars, West End stars, I want to be a movie star now.”

“We would love to perform . . . But if it comes to a bigger project working with top actors then I wouldn’t mind just getting involved directing and choreographing.”

“We have already told producers that we want to do a new show for next year. We definitely won’t be touring as much as this. It will be something much smaller, but it is an opportunity.

“We do love it, I have to say.”

Ohhh yes, have we heard any rumours that could be the case? I'm wondering, on a very practical level, if childcare could be an issue if both of them were in the show? There are a lot of rehearsal hours.

BIB I'm not sure what Elena's work commitments are in the Autumn.

Maggie may know more than me. I think their daughter goes to school abroad and I wonder if Gleb and Elena both being on the show might actually enable them to settle more together here as a family. At the moment both do a lot of travelling for work, sometimes together but also separately. They're a very hardworking couple, I guess they travel where the work is.

We've not heard about Elena yet but I would say she is likely to be included if she wants to be.

Olivia goes to school in Hong Kong where she is in the care of one set of grandparents, can't recall if it's the ma- or paternal ones. When Gleb was doing SCD last year, Elena was in Russia and Australia, if I recall rightly, judging. So the divided family is common for all three rather sadly.

Morning Ochre, me too! The definite non returners are: Ola, Aliona (sad face), Kristina and Tristan .... anyone else? Every year I think that Anton will surely be hanging up his dancing shoes but after last year's success with Katie I think it's unlikely. I haven't felt that Brendon's heart has been in it for the last couple of series so maybe he will go? I imagine all of last year's new pros will return because it's unusual to just have one stint. Hurry up BBC, we need something new to talk about!

I think for Brendan and Anton it is as much a job for life as it's possible to be for anyone - and the P-that-B like the connection they give them to the first series.
