Really lovely to see Anton getting to do what he does best on the show, and doesn't he look happy to be doing it?

2 day countdown to Gleb heating up the kitchen

Afternoon Ochre! The SOS is reporting that our Caroline has had some flack (here all week) for her flirty style on Love Island Much as I like Caroline I don't really think I could bring myself to watch it so I have no idea if it's true or not.

Afternoon Lou Just had a look for the article after seeing your post. I haven't been watching either, don't see the appeal. Tacky and desperate. Caroline's too good a presenter, hope she moves on from it.

Hopefully she will listen to her family and believe them when they say it's an awful show

Ha ha, 'that awful show you do' still makes me chuckle

Just the sort of thing some members of my family would come out with!

Evening Lou. I watch the show (don't judge, it's one of those trashy things you just get hooked on ) and haven't a clue why anyone would be giving Caroline stick over 'her flirty style' Absolutely no idea what they are on about. I think Caroline is a great presenter

Oh, it was hilarious. Brendan and Lee Ottoway having a 'you're awful', 'no, you're awful' session in the back of a limo

Love this different take on the Foxtrot, also from Series 7, with Aliona and Matt, Katya and Brendan.

Morning Star, don't encourage me. It took going cold turkey to get over my Corrie addiction and I know if I watched 10 minutes I would be hooked again

Glad to hear that Caroline gets the thumbs up

Oh I'll definitely judge Love Island. In it's original incarnation it was trashy celeb reality TV which was perfect for tabloid showmances.

Now, going on Caroline's interviews, it's adult entertainment being passed off as primetime reality TV. I'm no prude but as a parent I'd like to see some standards maintained on primetime. And a quick scan of the SOS headlines tells me one of the finalists is certainly no gentleman.

So disappointing Caroline's associated with Love Island and gone from winning Strictly to presenting a show one step away from the adult channels.

Morning Ochre

I'm a bit concerned about Caroline taking on this job because I agree with all you've said. Everything I've seen on the SOS about Love Island makes me think it's pretty sleazy. I hope she does actually have some other work As you say, she is a very talented and intelligent presenter and she needs a proper job!

Hi Lou

I was disappointed to see an article in the SOS a couple of days ago suggesting Caroline will return to present Love Island next year. The comments from the source also made it clear which direction they're looking to take the show further in ...

What is Caroline thinking. Being harsh but truthful she has to realise at her (and my) age her days of presenting that kind of show are numbered and in a couple of years then what? She'll be known for Love Island, her name is getting dragged in to all these tacky (and in one case highly dubious) articles about the contestants, according to OK she has tweeted the winners thanking them for their support saying she was ignoring the comments but.....aaaargh. Holding my head in my hands! Her Strictly win will be a distant memory, I'm concerned she's already wasted the prestige associated with that really.

I guess work is work She's just moved house (I follow her on Instagram) and if she has a mortgage then she needs regular income. After Strictly everything seemed to be on the up, she had her X Factor job and the DJ-ing job. I'm not a fan of the X Factor but it is hugely popular and I image the role she had was much coveted. It's a shame. I hope someone recognises what genuine talent she has and gives her a proper job!

Yes it's work, her ability to secure better jobs is so dependent on her media and public image in her line of work though isn't it. Love Island has helped make the 'XFactor failure' headlines disappear for her at least but I would've thought the press of the last few days would serve as a warning to Caroline that now could be the time to leave.

Like you Lou I'm hoping to hear other projects announced in the next few months, we might see her in the Strictly audience if Laura Whitmore really is taking part

Beautiful pic of Sophie EB from a photoshoot for her upcoming album Familia.

Photo from Pixie's Instagram, the shade of lipstick is called 'Breakfast At Tiffany's' Loving all the Pixie articles in the DM at the moment while she's performing in the BAT West End shows, she has so much fun with her clothes.

Also like these photos of Pixie and Matt, aka Holly and Fred

She had some red boots in a recent photo that were virtually identical to a pair my cousin had way back when that I coveted so much it hurt. I was 8. I wasn't allowed anywhere near them
