You just can't rely on Royal Mail these days.On a slightly more serious note ... how thin are so many of these women? I think it sets a dreadful example to young girls. There is one woman who the DM were fretting about her cleavage (with the usual zoooming in shots) and how she might have a calamitous falling out situation ... there was nothing to fall out

Like you said, they are not good examples, too thin and not dressed properly. Cleavage up to the naval and slit up to the arm pits. Naomi was just wearing a net dress. All the men wearing suits and women are just so disappointing, not because I was not there. |

And in other news, the DM's obsession with Pixie continues
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...rformance.html Journalism at its finest: "The single-breasted jacket buttoned just above her breasts, showing off her silky chest while keeping her assets firmly under wraps. " ![]() ![]() ![]() What would we do without the DM? This article was interesting and made me wonder if Caroline had read it and taken note on how to deal with the trolls. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...st-trolls.html I think Naga makes a good point - it's fine to be criticised for your professional life(if you have one) but it's a step too far when it becomes personal and hideous criticism. |

Anita Rani and James Martin to host This Morning
https://www.theguardian.com/media/20...s-this-morning She was popular enough to get through to the semi-final. Even though Gleb was very popular, people wouldn't have voted for them to get that far if they didn't like Anita. She also showed she was easy to get on with - the other celebrities seemed to like her - and she worked very, very hard. |

Think in the long term Anita will do very well out of doing Strictly.

I do think it is absolutely wonderful the way Pixie is doing everything she can to get papped every night to drum up business for her show - Breakfast at Tiffany's !
She is so funny posing away while they all get good shots - not the stolen fleeting glances you get when the press are hounding people who don't want to be photographed. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working too well - there are tickets available - many on offer - in all parts of the house for tomorrow night's performance, as this is Saturday that really isn't good at all. Perhaps she is not famous enough or popular enough to attract the sort of audiences you need to get 'bums on seats' in the West End. Who bought her records/downloads teenagers ? A very disloyal market and certainly not theatre goers. I presume a lot of us much older people who actually often go to the theatre had never heard of her - I certainly hadn't until she appeared on Strictly with the awful Trent. She certainly didn't leave a lasting impression with me, Trent did but not one that gives me the least pleasure. I just hope BAT doesn't get taken off before schedule - however that won't affect the rest of the tour thank goodness, Provincial Theatres have a much more loyal local audience, I just checked and tickets are selling well. Possibly Georgia May Foote comes with her own older Corrie watching fan club - plus her appearance with Giovanni Pernice on Strictly so recently won't hurt ! There is still a lot of media attention on them both and as individuals too. |

Totally agree. I think Anita is very hard working and willing try different type of shows.
She is presenting something from a refugee camp, tonight on BBC2. Good luck to her. She is capable of dealing with very serious subjects but retains the ability to not take herself too seriously and obviously has a great sense of humour (rampant crab anyone ?). What is just as important is that she is very popular with all the people who work with her. |

Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful summer, Ochre
![]() The Pixie copy is hilarious - I think my favourite is 'delicious calves' although 'radiating after another acclaimed performance' stood out ![]() Does the SoS employ actual humans to write the articles or are they just spat out by a random sentence generator? ![]() ( I like the way my 1970's nightie is now 'fashion forward http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...rformance.html )

There she goes again - well posed Pixie !
Obviously the paparazzi know where to find her every evening - other people have been criticised on this thread for being papped in similar circumstances, but they didn't actually stop to pose - never mind Pixie you must be taking one for the team ![]() I would imagine that it's all part of the PR for the show, and an extension of the job. It always makes me smile that the minute a celeb has a show to promote, a record to sell, a holiday company thank or just generally feel a bit neglected (the neglected usually take to posting lots and lots on Instagram in the hopes they will be mined) they take up residence in the SoS. Then when the promo is done they go back to being able to go on holiday without being obligated to frolic in the surf or can go shopping without flashing their pins or can run out for an anonymous coffee without even a slick of make-up and less than immaculate tresses. I thirdly imagine that when Pixie's run in the show is done she will hand the baton over to whoever is next in the PR promo relay. It's all just part of the game. At least Pixie is being photographed as part of an actual job - not randomly appeared on a beach in a cossie coughJordanscough. (If Pixie has done with those boots now she's been photographed in them - I know where they could have a good home ... )

Morning ladies
Alesha in the DM, no surprise she's not returning to replace Len but I liked these comments she made regarding her time as a contestant on Strictly . . . 'It ended up being one of the most incredible experiences of my life - I literally felt like I had been given a second chance and when the show ended, on the actual night that I won, I know it sounds corny, but I thought 'everything's going to be okay' and it kind of has, it was a real blessing.' 'I worked hard on that show, I trained 10 hours a day for four months and it was really worth it.' I don't agree with her about a three judge panel though or Craig as head judge. No need for a head judge once Len leaves, let the public vote decide ties. Princess Pixie Going to watch the Strictly Proms now, been looking forward to seeing Joanne particularly. |

I would like her back, she is funny.Totally agree with you about all the judges being equal and event of a tie, send it to public votes. BIB- Not a fan of the Cliftons, specially Joanne. IMO, she comes across very fake. Sorry Ochre
