Loving that idea

Aggs' friend actually sounds like all the people in my life who like Strictly and watch each week but, strangely, don't discuss it for hours and hours on forums such as this

Strictly and XFactor will take over half the SOS...I hope we get the 'cast of Fame' pro rehearsal pap shots over the next few weeks like last year, Joanne was funny in those.

From what I have seen on the show and before the show, Pixie seems ike a nice girl; she is really sweet IMO. Yes I found her bland on strictly but I did like her partnership with Trent; she was also a very talented dancer/performer imo. She genuinely seems like a nice girl and is quite talented . I dont think her singing career will take off like she wants to but I am happy to see her succeed at other areas of her life.

I just had a peek at this thread and I honestly dont understand why she attracts so much criticism She is really quite inoffensive, seriously.

Anyways, I wish her more success.

Sweet personality, loyal, a hard worker - I'm not sure what's not to like!

A: Somewhere Truman Capote is not happy

Quote:

B: That is one awful blouse. Looks like she has got dressed with coat hanger still in.

Wow. Well done Lisa Riley who has gone from a size 30 to a size 14. I say that from a health point of view more than anything as she was technically obese so jolly well done her. I know we have talked about the negative imagery of women who are too thin on this thread so I think it is fair to say that. The usual body shaming trolls have had their day (why does anyone think other people's bodies are fair game for public ridicule?) so good on her.

Here's a link.

She gave up booze completely Ano .... I've lost a stone and a half and am now back at size 10 (it took me a year!!) but, without wishing to sound like I have dependency issues, I would struggle to forgo my vino

High five to all fellow yo yos! Same here. I have clothes in sizes 8 to 16 It's mad. I'm determined not to put weight on again but it does seem to happen so easily. One thing I am convinced of is that I have to find an eating plan that I can stick to (my husband has banned me from saying "diet"). I love cooking, I love food I love cookery programmes and can quite happily read a cookery book and enjoy it just as much as a novel.

Hey ho. Good on Lisa anyway - she looks amazing (and so happy).

But like literally what did she do to lose all that weight it's A LOT of weight so has she revealed any secrets or tips on how she did it because I'm seriously intrigued because I'm on a journey to lose some weight? I'm not trying to be rude at all or offensive but has she gotten any kind of surgical procedure done on her it's a serious question by the way 😀

Absolutely not to the surgical procedure (or gastric band). I read an interview a while ago in which she said it was all her own work. She does have a great deal of loose skin though so I think she is considering some surgery to tidy that up (not sure what the right terminology is). As far as I know she gave up the booze and cut out rubbish food such as crisps, fatty burgers, cakes, chocolate etc. It really was just sensible eating. Anyone can lose weight if they burn off more than they consume (speaks someone who has gained and lost many many times!) I'm certainly she didn't follow a faddy diet of any sort.

That's actually quite extraordinary she was a BIG woman who made me laugh so much I would actually tear up when dancing with robin, I'm sure she exercised as well, I feel like loosing weight is much more harder than gaining I could easily scoff some brownies up but I'm sticking to my plan and hopefully I'll lose weight like Lisa, how long did it take her by the way?

I loved her on Strictly and I really didn't think I would. I also thought that although she was so large she was actually a very good dancer. I'm not sure how long it took her. I've been googling and I can't find any more info.

I completely agree about the exercise. What works for me is lots of little bursts of exercise (enough to make me pant a bit), eg, I make sure I run up all flights of stairs* at home and work rather than go for a five mile run each evening. I also keep a food diary which sounds really boring (and it is!) but it's amazing how it can stop you from eating something you know you shouldn't because you'll have to 'fess up in your diary Good luck with the weight loss. Do you set yourself goals? I found that once I'd lost just one pound I felt so motivated and it kept me going.

* I only have one flight of stairs at home, I don't live in Hogwarts

Good luck Ano It is much easier to put on weight than losing it, I have done it so many times.

Definitely the way to look at it is a change of lifestyle not a diet. Don't blame your husband lou for banning the word diet

My sister can eat what she wants and has been thin all her life, it's not fair

That's such cool idea I should try that I have to admit I'm lazy and I'm just taking it one step at a time I'm fixing my diet properly before I get into all that exercise, I think that's crucial no point committing to going to the gym and going for long jogs if what you are eating isn't right. It's been two weeks so far for me fixing my diet now it's my life long mission to get to that gym I keep putting it off 😂😂
