Awww I hope Will can show you he's still the same lovely guy he always was, still crossing fingers he'll be partnered with Joanne although a couple of other posters suggestions as to his possible pro partner have got me thinking too.

Lovely pics in the DM of Helen Glover with her gold medal and fiance, Mr Steve Backshall”

Not a fan of Steve Backshall after what he said about Ola. Jordans migh be many things, but Ola is a very good teacher. He is a real winger, Helen can do so much better.

Well that was somewhat less than subtle...”

May be you live and breath G&G, please stop thinking that every comment is about your G&G.

I thought it was funny GG were making a number of this seasons pros bend round them til I realised they'd probably blocked out Joanne. Shame she hasn't got that photo showing her with her fellow pros.

Luba's photos are lovely and hilarious too, Kevin and Karen Agree about Rachel

What did he say about Ola? I mean an actual quote, not 'a source said', not 'allegedly', not a quote from an 'insider', not 'rumour is'

Oh, sorry maybe your comment wasn't about G&G, of course you are the only one who genuinely and honestly knows the full meaning of the 'look at me' remark...

Sorry, English Professor. Any 'poser' is a 'look at me' person for me and that would be most of the people there. My comment was in regard to Rachel and why I like her.

What does it matter where people are standing in a photo?

I'm sure that Jo does not mind. Talk about petty.

Why thank you, I must confess I don't have the necessary qualifications to be an English Professor, but thank you for the compliment.
I must also confess to also having posed for photos, so I must be one of those 'look at me' people!
And if you're honestly saying that your comment was only in regard to Rachel and why you like her then I believe you....

If I am not mistaken, he did give an interview after his exit and said that she is a very nasty person. I will try and find the link for you.

I love that last one in the set of four, where they are all making silly faces!

Chris, can you not see the utterly dastardly G+G have positioned themselves absolutely clearly with the intention of blocking out their very good friend Joanne Clifton!
I mean, what else do you expect, Georgia was always desperate to focus attention on herself - that'll be why whenever she was praised for her looks on Strictly she would divert the praise onto a 'great makeup team' and why when she was praised for her ballroom she diverted the praise onto none other than Joanne Clifton!

I'm trying to link this back to the thread title here, just to say that the attitude displayed in the last two examples of an attitude which, I think, would greatly help any celebrity benefit from the opportunities that Strictly offers.

Getting to the stage nothing can be said about anybody without the GG supporters up in arms.

I remember when this was a fun thread, sometimes still is but usually turns into something else.

Hang on ... I think that can be flipped round the other way, it's getting to the stage (in fact it's always been at that stage) when nothing can be said (or indeed seen!) about GG without them (GG) being criticised. This was a photo for goodness sake and they've been criticised for blocking people out and seeking attention - do you not find that a bit excessive?

The first page that descended into little but sniping between Georgia fans and people baiting them was pg 3.

May be you hate enough people in your life, we don't and stop saying things like that.

If I am not mistaken, I think Aggs was giving a 'sigh' about the G&G fans being in up in arms about a passing comment.

Pg 2 in fact!
Georgia was accused of seeking attention by tweeting that she liked gravy with her chips...

I'm sure glad that next series is nearly here. I'm sure it will bring on more pointless arguments about where people are standing in a photo

Yeah, but that was near the end of pg2. I thought I'd give some margin of error.

Yes unfortunately in-between giving us 'fun' facts about their personal life certain posters like to slip in the odd spiteful and I guess they think clever remark just to cheer themselves up !

What is very rare is anything vaguely on topic - although I don't know if you would consider that 'fun'
The topics introduced in these threads are merely vehicles for a few posters to carry on giving fulsome and unwarranted praise to their faves (which belongs in an appreciation thread) and heavily insult other celebs - all of this while continuing to have social chit chat amongst themselves which has nothing to do with Strictly or the thread topic.

I don't know which elements are the 'fun' factor for you - I think it is predictable and boring
