I'm really looking forward to this. You can't beat a bit of Pink.

Saying that, this year sounds like it's going to be a good year for music.

I'm so glad to hear she is back in the studio! I'm in two minds about new music from her, on one hand I loved the last two albums, especially TTAL so I don't mind if it's a similar sound, but on the other it would be refreshing to hear her to change styles slightly. Either way I'm happy to see what she comes back with

Try is still one of my most played tracks. I need another Try Alecia.

its looking promising shes gunna try different sounds because, apart from Greg Kurstin, I don't think shes worked with the other producers in that list before

I'm interested to see how this goes. I'm a big Pink fan but I really disliked her last album with the exception of Try which is an absolute gem. The rest of it felt like a step backwards for me - or at least, it was too much in your face for my tastes.

I wonder if she'll try any new sounds. She's one of the few artists of her generation (Britney, Christina, Kelis etc.) who's managed to completely dodge any electronic/EDM elements in her music, by releasing just when a trend is ending. I quite like that as it never seems like she's chasing a trend just a little too late like some pop artists can come off as.

Can't wait to hear what her new album is like! I love Pink and have all her other albums. Mizzundazstood, I'm Not Dead and Funhouse are my fave albums of hers but they're all really good. Well, I'm not as crazy about her debut album but it has it's moments, I guess!

If you're looking for a change of style you could check out the stuff she did as rose ave, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjYqdmtRSlI then again you probably know. I loved that album.

I hope this album is better than the truth about love. I disliked that album very much.

Thought i'd bump this thread seeing as DS posted this today http://www.digitalspy.com/music/feat...-need-to-know/

Its weird because when it was announced at the weekend she was pregnant with her second child, I thought well that rules out a new album next year. But now I'm actually confident we will get a new album this year. She looks far on so think shes due in the next couple of months and yesterday it was announced shes performing at Marcus Amphitheater Summerfest on 2nd July 2017 which would be a perfect time for a new single and album in Sep/Oct

Anyone else excited Been 4 years already since The Truth About Love

It speaks to the quality of her songs and her star power that I feel like she's barely been away. A great, consistent artist. I look forward to this album!

Congrats to Pink with baby 2
Doesn't bother me if we have to wait a little longer for the new album

urgh kind of wish I could say the same thing lol [obviously I'm happy for her and Carey and wish them the best of luck! ]. Its just been so long since Truth About Love, especially as the whole you+me folk thing wasn't my cup of tea at all. I must admit when I read she was pregnant, obviously again very happy for her and Carey but I did think aw that rules out next year completely. But when I saw the photos of her, its obvious shes late on in her pregnancy and then when I read about the July gig, now I'm confident we'll get a new album next year. She's probably gunna debut her new single at the July gig then release the new album September/October next year

This exactly, I very rarely listen to pop music nowadays, but do love P!nk.
