Hi
I have a Samsung TV, with the equaliser settings as:
100Hz = 0
300Hz = 0
1KHz = 0
3KHz = 0
10KHz = 0

With 0 (zero) in the centre.

What I want advice on please, what would be the best settings for someone who has bad tinnitus in one ear??

Completely impossible to answer. The only person who can determine that is you. No-one else knows how your tinnitus affects your hearing and hence what may be needed to adjust for it.

And unless you are wearing headphones all the time and the settings can be split between left and right channels any changes you make will affect both ears equally so might not have quite the desired effect you were looking for.

But basically all you can do is alter the settings to see what effect each has. I would start with the higher frequency settings first as they are probably closest in range to your tinnitus.

No one can say, as it depends on the speakers/headphones being used and the particular state of a persons hearing including the tinnitus.
Can only be done by the person concerned trying settings. I have it in one ear sometimes and it's at a very low frequency, but that's just me and won't apply to others.
They could try this, restricting the extreme lower and higher frequencies, but very unlikely to be useful.
100 Hz = -20
300 Hz = 0 or -20
1 KHz = 0
3 KHz = 0
10 KHz = -20
