If series 3 was back next year what changes would you make? Would have celebs? Would have a different format? Different chefs?

I actually think changing chefs each year is a good idea

I've liked this years format better than last - and I agree that changing chefs would be a good idea each year.

The problem with the format is it is a little bit unorganised, imo. I though there would be an nomination one night, sacking the next, nomination, sacking etc... throughout the series, but obviously not!

After Stein was dropped from the show, I guess they took a bit of a hit on phone revenue too. When Stein went, they stopped promoting the Blue Kitchens numbers.

I'm not sure what they are actually going to do with the votes that were cast for Kellie & Gary prior to Stein being dropped. They say they will carry them over, but I can't see how they can do that fairly now.

Either all votes should be rest to zero after a sacking, or all votes are cumulative. If all votes are cumulative then Terry & Sam have an unfair advantage since they were promoted on some nights whereas Sam & Gary were not.

No problemo, but as we now know the votes are not cummulative, each vote, the slates are whiped clean.

i personally dont think hells kitchen will be back after bad ratings. as much as i liked this series better, theyre either got to go back to the original format or not at all, especially if its about ratings.

It makes sense now. As Stein left without being voted off, then the votes for Gary & Kellie could be carried over. As they were effectively battling it out between themselves, neither one received preferential promotion over the other.
Last night 1 was definately going from the Blue team and 1 from the Red team.

Now the slates have been wiped clean again, it's a fair vote between Kellie & Terry

I can't see the return of HK unless they return to the original format. Although I'm not sure you need the celebs as the contestants, I think the show should be more focused on the food, and if it's called Hell's Kitchen it needs to be Hell not the pantomime stuff between GR and JC.

As the ratings have plummeted this series, I think the only chance this programme has of a third series is if they throw enough wonga at Gordon Ramsay and presuade him to return. However, once he's seen the charade of JC & GR, I don't see him being prepared to associate himself with this show anymore.

To be honest i would love to see it again but with different chefs although JCN & Gary have been brill.

I would love to see Ainslie Harriot get into a tizz along with Nigella, both terrific cooks & really nice people.

In my plan each team would invite 10 'tables' over to eat the other teams food each night.

Of course for my dream to work we would need Fern Brittain to replace Angus. Angus can eat humble pie & be a trainee chef
