Just over 12 hours to go until the Apple media event starts streaming out to the world. I can't wait. I have a feeling there are going to be some truly amazing new products unveiled.

You don't sound as keen as I expected. Only a feeling?

I think the comment 'each to their own' earlier in the thread is about it. No phone is too big or too small. No OS is too locked down or too open. It's about personal choice. If a re-vamped 5S with all the latest functionality of the 6S is perfect for someone, why would that be a problem.

Reading back through this thread, it's a shame that it has turned into another Apple hate thread. In fact it's more about Android than iOS. Part of growing up is accepting that different people have different needs and desires. Crusades are rarely popular in retrospect.

I fear Apple are becoming way too complicated. I'm losing track of all of these models. Now they're doing a smaller iPad Pro after saying the original had to be bigger because that's what is required for a "pro" tablet. Err ok.. so why make it smaller?

Maximum memory of 32gb for the SE so not interested. The smaller size might have tempted me to downgrade but I'll stick with what I've got

There's not a 32gb model, only 16gb and 64gb

32? That's crap. I would now never buy a phone less than 64GB, but then I wouldn't consider a 4" phone either, quite happy with the size of the 6S.

according to the live feed on the daily mirror website, they announced two models - a 16gb and 32gb. no mention of a 64gb model so maybe they got it wrong ?

I've also only ever gone for 64gb models, generally out of necessity, but now I've got even more music on my 6s I need 128gb just as a starting point

I like it, I wanted a new small one, may well buy. Phone memory is not that important, everything should be in the cloud and synced to a main device.

Yes that answer was quietly skipped over (we were all asking ourselves) after he told us all about the 12.9 pro and how much it was loved etc etc (which i'm sure it is)

Could not help but marvel at what the new one does but kept thinking how much better the experience will be on the bigger fellow.

Very disappointing. Couldn't go back to a 4" phone but I get that some wanted a new 4" version, but I think the majority will be disappointed that it looks like a 3-4 year old 5/5S. I don't get why Apple didn't go with the same form factor as the 6/6S, makes no sense. Just looked super thick and dated. Awful.

If we ignore the fact that 'I think you will find...' is the most patronising expression in the English language, I think you will find that saying that Android "shapes what Apple do' on the basis of a list of things that Android had first, while ignoring anything that iOS had first kinda makes that a pretty ridiculous general claim to make. Smily face

re BIB - did they actually say that?

Is the 13" MBP confusing as well because of the 15" MBP?
