Feel completely the opposite. Andrew annoys me ,with his fathers curd and his grannies sponge and his second cousin twice removeds bread ,but I really liked Tom, he took leaving so well too. He is clearly a bread man though.

Right result tonight.
Andrew did really well and Tom had a bit if a mare. Candice was quite lucky that others were worse than her tonight I think. Neither her signature bake nor her showstopper were brilliant they both had issues.

I did! He was earnest and a bit weird. I thought he was fab!

Now Tom is gone, I would like Selasi to win. Haven't warmed to the others although Jane is ok, but anyone who says 'I make roulade a lot' well what can I say

I found Andrew too desperate to be star baker, his expression every week when he losr was priceless.

Tudor week? What the hell? Like botanical, these are not things!

I didn't like him saying 'finally' that much I have to admit. You haven't had it before because up to now you've been average at best mate. Lose the sense of entitlement.

I saw that. Hope it's not Candice as she seems so desperate to win.

The right choice went tonight. Poor thing could do nothing right

I'm pleased wth the outcome tonight, the right one went.
I cannot get the love for Andrew though, I find him too intense.

Benjamina for me, consistently good in most of the challenges.

Depends on how you interpret it. Could be taken as way of saying hooray I have got it right

Do think Candice is over reaching herself. Her roulade was messy, and I just hope she doesn't win it.

Andrew, Benjamina or Selasi would be a good winner for me. Someone who has made consistent progress

He's been so desperate for it every week, it's quite obvious.

I agree with you, the finally was quite telling how much he has been after it, when it shouldn't even be assumed you will ever get it.

Have to admit, even if it is a copy of Nadyia's peacock, it looks miles better and I was never a fan of that, there wasn't much baking involved , more like play-dough modelling!

He may well have meant " finally i did it right " i am Irish and would say " finally " as in " at last I did it "
Not as in I should have had it before now

Other than last week when he had a total mare I'd say he is consistently above average and had at least one other week when he maybe should have had the nod. He has consistently been second or third best over many weeks. Just my opinion mind you, we all see things differently.

I just thought he meant 'At last!' as in 'I've been trying to win Star Baker for weeks, at last I did it'.

Not that keen on Andrew, but surely they all want to win Star Baker?

Exactly. They all also presumably want to win the whole thing and, rightly or wrongly, the perception is that you've less chance if you've never been on the top perch throughout the series.

The right result tonight.

Perhaps I'm alone in not really liking either Tom or Andrew.
Felt Tom was aloof and Andrew a bit priggish. He obviously thought he had the right to win tonight since desserts were 'his thing'.
Candice back to Morticia and copious pouting - urgh

Love Jane, Selasi and Benjamina

The roulades were my favourites tonight - love a bit of log.
