My favourites are Jane and Andrew.
I love Selassi, but not convinced. Candice is great, but too showy. |

I don't know who's fault it is, but they seem to be trying so hard to create a *personality* this year after stumbling across Nadiya, instead of letting it happen naturally.

It's between Jane & Candice.
Benjamina was robbed in my view, Selassi is a lucky boy. |

Enjoyed tonight's show, nice to see something different and like learning about the history of baking. However, can't stand Candace with her constant pouting and lack of humility whereas Selasi seems a nice bloke. Saying that you can't deny her peacock was amazing and she deserved star baked tonight. I hope Selasi or Jane go on to win the competition.

Jane or Andrew to win. I love Selasi, but he's not a good enough baker. He can just stand there looking handsome and chill throughout the final.

They had a collective explosive bowel incident of fury the other day when Nadiya did her documentary, for example. |

I said to the hub I didn't think puffed rice existed in the Tudor times (re Candice's peacock) and so her showstopper should have got the chop. Yes Paul?

If you base it on just the 3 bakes, then Benjamina going home is the right call. She was the worst across all 3 challenges, with Selasi just edging ahead of her.
If you base it on the entire series up till now, Selasi is lucky to still be in the competition. But so far, he's not been the worst on any given week, and is therefore good value on his semi final place. I fear next week is the end of the line for him though. |

Gosh not sure why all the dislike for Candice? She seems supportive of all the other bakers and has learnt from some previous errors "I have been warned about being too pale before". Her peacock looked amazing, it was a showstopper - it was meant to be "showy" and don't understand why wearing lipstick is frowned upon.
