The final was filmed in June and one of them is the red hot favourite at 1/4 and has been backed all week .

Yes indeed.
If somebody is very pro Selasi could we accuse them of being gingerist, anti-Irish, ageist or sexist? Of course not that would be daft. Loads of us wanted Selasi to stay in for much of the series until it got to the point where we thought his capabilities weren't up there with the rest.

Beats me why they even allow betting on events such as this that have already happened, mind you in the past silly odds have proven to be just that, silly. |

I just think that with the way he has progressed Andrew would be the more deserving winner

I quite like Mel usually (especially in Just a Minute)....but her and Sue are the two reasons I haven't watched the GBB apart from the very first episode ....Their innuendos are cringeworthy and not funny, why they have to keep on with them is beyond me.....does anyone actually feel it adds anything to the show?

It would be very strange in a 3 horse race if one of them wasn't odds on or the maths would start to work against the bookies.

Think Andrew has had the greater journey and he has improved so much that I think he deserves to win it.
Jane, I kind of think she has stayed at roughly the same level as when she started so can she take that step further. I am not so sure Candice, the one who I don't want to win, the pouting is starting to grate on me. Yes she is a good baker but has her journey been greater than Andrew's Andrew would be my choice to win, the consistent improvement, no pouting from him I find it is Andrew than annoys me intensely but he seems to appeal to 'women of a certain age'. |

Nadiya does not have the depth of knowledge of Hollywood but she seems a fast learner and I would think people would respect her opinions whilst judging. She also now has a high profile which would aid a replacement programme. Mary Berry also seems to like her so they could make a good partnership.
I think she also acknowledges her inexperience and would not pretend to know more than she does as some might do. |

Surely the person who produces the best bakes should win? By your logic, if I went on and produced a cake that was not burnt then I would have shown a massive improvement so should win.
I find it is Andrew than annoys me intensely but he seems to appeal to 'women of a certain age'. What I was meaning is that Andrew has in my opinion made the most progress |

Mixed emotions about tonight.
Excited it's the Final but sad it is the end of a beautiful era. ![]() I hope Andrew wins, him and Selasi were my faves from day One. And as I got a tweet off Andrew, I love him even more now! ![]() 2nd choice is Jane. 3rd choice. Pouty McPoutFace Be nice to see all of the other contestants tonight. ![]() Would have preferred Tom to win, however, but that was never going to happen unless they'd made the last few episodes solely about bread! |

I'm backing Candice for the win (she's not pouting, she's pursing her lips).
Jane would be my second choice followed by Andrew. |

hey guys!
![]() Looking forward to finale night, but also sad as it's the last episode of 'normal' BO imo on BBC1, with the right presenters, hosts etc I reckon Candice will win, I hope Jane does though..

Are you talking about the quote "it was such a surprise"? I think it's to do with an engagement.

I think Candice's pout is involuntary and happens when she's a bit worried being criticised.
I used to teach a boy who smiled when worried, especially during any criticism when you'd expect him to do anything but smile. If I hadn't known why he did it, I'd have quite happily lamped him one f he'd been an adult. |

Looking forward to this ... I do feel like it's all been leading to a Candice win, she got all the publicity in the run up to the show starting, and has continued to dominate the headlines.
Hey-ho ... I just want too see some great bacon |
