I guess it's time to say farewell both to this thread and to the BBC series. It's been a fantastic few years and this forum has helped make it so enjoyable!
Fear not for we shall meet again! ”
It is nice to see that Candice and Jane are off doing something together,
Anyway sad to see it go, really enjoyed this wonderful series

The guy with the grey hair and holding the dog I reckon.

Oh, I give up! She could easily have been eliminated at any stage if one of her bakes failed! What do you think the BBC would do - sneak a already made cake onto her worktop?
I thought from week two or three she'd win. She was the best baker so she deserved it. I was a bit irritated with her constant pouting but she seems like a nice gal so well done to her.
Well folks, I guess that's it. In the vast majority, it's been a wonderful place to be here and wonderful to chat with you all. Especially the old stalwarts who have been here since series one, thank you for the company.

There's always someone to come along and cry "fix" when their own favourite doesn't win or they don't like the actual winner.

It's been a blast ”
Not quite, we still have the two 'all star' Christmas bale offs to come before it leaves us for Channel 4

Perhaps my wording was wrong. I'm not talk about giving Candice-friendly tasks, forcing Mary/Paul to keep her in. I'm talking about the editing.
