I hope they don't change a thing, I always assumed they were interchangeable like the original person was thinking who commented, although I wouldn't go as far as saying get rid of one of the hosts, but the way you've described their differences i realise perhaps they aren't. Sue does have a quick wit. Hope she stays on to host with Mel this show that we love.

Never understood why women think they are funny. In fact the only people who think they are funny are other women.

There is more to humor than innuendo, gurning and falling over. All though I haven't seen them fall yet, these two tick the first two boxes - they are awful.

From the succession of mainly male stand-up 'comedians' that pollute the airwaves, I would say (as a male myself) that the same could be said of male comedians. We are just going through a period with a poor standard of 'comedian' perhaps they can make a fortune by appearing in arenas, flogging DVDs of them appearing in arenas and going around TV panel shows.

These are amazing! I have the roll up baking sheet as well and it really saves on mess, as well as having size guide marks printed onto it.

Ooh - I like this and the rolling pin. But I reckon if I wait a few months they will be available at Aldi for a quarter of the price!

Joseph Joseph also make a self tapping sieve which sounds great but that's getting into the realms of silly for me...but that mat is a lifesaver or rather a mess saver...

Just caught up with the latest episode. Paul Hollywood probably would not like our local biscuit , Tosset cake, still a biscuit but it would be too soft for him. But they are lovely, just melt in your mouth.

Like Andrew, Candice. Val seems very sweet, but probably should go next week, unless she has a blinder and aces every challenge.

Kate, she does look a bit smug at times when other bakers get a poor review. Don't know if that is to do with the editing or not. But as the public do not vote I am not sure why they would do that.

Can not remember all the names yet though.

Not sure about Paul's preocccupation with having hard crunchy biccies.
I often prefer them squidgy, like choc chip cookies.

It's reported on the BBC and newspapers an it's on his Twitter feed that it happened.

Not surprising because Nadyia also got abuse last year and is still getting it - see the thread on "Chronicles of Nadyia", although some of the more racists comments on there have been removed and a couple of posters are "inactive" now.

Yes, me too. He is supposed to judge on the quality of the bake not his personal preferences.

I always find bread week so boring. I just can't get excited by a bread roll.

I'll still watch and giggle at their disasters.

I'm a bit late to the Bake off, only seen the past 3 or 4 series, so I've been enjoying catching up with series 3 on the food network channel too. It was bread week at the weekend too.

God knows how Rob got away with some of the worst disasters I've seen so far. Dropped showcase cake, collapsed bread basket, tarts presented in the baking tray because they wouldn't come out....

I wouldn't be surprised if she does - but you never know, as Mark said, she is turning into this year's Norman and it is entirely possible that somebody else will have a worse disaster than her (as with Louise last week) and therefore go instead.
