I want to know how Candice can make in those heels. I have to bake in slippers.
Cue Candice tears... |

My husband has just sat here complaining about Candice for the past ten minutes - I quite like her, she wears her heart on her sleeve, I like that.

I don't know how you lot remember who's who, I can only spot a couple of them. I think they should all wear name badges, us oldies get a bit confused you know.

I am afraid Candice is starting to come across as a bit of an attention seeker always making everything about her.
Next week looks utterly delicious and life-threateningly calorific. |

Candice is just desperate to win, isn't she? I mean, I'm sure they all are (well, except Selasi who seems to have accidentally wandered into the tent but decided to stay for a laugh), but at least they hide it better.

Genuine question - which is better? You'd kind of like people to be honest about it if possible, but being ambitious really doesn't seem to be in the bake off spirit. Not very 'British'...

Really disappointed Andrew didn't get Star Baker, I absolutely adore him.
Selasi needs to up his game! I am warming to Jane as well. Only 2 I want gone are Kate (cornflower woman) and Val (aerobic kicking) - both absolutely grind on me. |

I thought Andrew deserved star baker. That's two weeks in a row where he's just missed out.
Next week looks good. The key to good Yorkshire Puds is sizzling hot oil and batter that's been left to rest for at least an hour after mixing. I still can't decide if having it fridge cold makes them better or not, though. |
