So somebody who can't do basic creaming method is in Bake Off?
There's always a disaster candidate in week one.

Technical!

Val, the one that keeps dancing and doing aerobic type things.
The one who was just told her cake was excellent, I presume. A lady of a certain age!

I love these deceptively simple challenges which turn out to be murder.

The one with the dark lippy, is the one that's living with the drug dealer isn't it? They ask as part of the application process, about this, I imagine she may not have told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth

No. It is what the English do best - a great ironical sense of humour that pokes fun at the PC brigade
Hmm we'll see. 'PC brigade' is usually an epithet bandied around by ninnies.

Yes I agree, I do wonder how they pick them. A friend who is a very talented baker did two selection rounds and wasn't successful and she's better than most. Maybe they need a range of talent.

You don't make Jaffa cakes ... You buy them, and eat all 12 with a brew

Oh I love Jaffa cakes. I ear the chocolate first, then lick up the jelly, then suck the sponge. Heaven.

I wouldn't rely too much on tabloid stories, but I go with that rule all the time not just about Bake Off.
