When does something stop becoming 'style' would it have to be cooked in China to be Chinese? Or by a Chinese person?

Well done, Candice.
I think it was my necklace as her lucky charm.

Agree with both of those - think Jane was going to get star baker until she made the size error with the amuse bouche.

Val lasted longer than I thought she would after week 1

I'd say a dish is 'Chinese' if it would actually be cooked in China, whereas 'Chinese style' is using the same flavours as chinese food but isn't something would be served if you went to China.

Awww, Val's lovely.

That cuddle she got from Selasi was funny.

Candice did really well.

As much as some people on here hated her guts, sounds like she was a hit in the tent.

Also a really endearing farewell.

I watched early series on Food channel last few weeks. There is no running out of time like we've had this year. It was a baking show.
The early series didn't need all tension injecting into it because it was about baking. I can't help but feel that the BBC have offloaded the series just at the right time.

Candice is BBC Eye Candy.
Really? The Bedford lass is more plain Jane for me.
