How is using 8GB on PAYG for £20 any different than using 8GB on a Mobile Broadband sim at network level?
Are they using different masts now, different backhaul?, did his 8GB usage on a PAYG sim, used over a period of several days encroach on somebody else's use of the network?.
Yes, we already know that using tethered data on a PAYG sim is a big no no and can sometimes create a pitchfork and torch waving response among certain individuals here, but he has done it already, its an historical event and the person has already effectively slapped their own wrist on here for doing it.
My point is that the person I was replied to shouldn't feel guilty about using 8GB on his PAYG £20 sim as a one off, and Three would be very unlikely to follow it up or charge him for doing it. What is your point and how does it differ?.
