So I have had a Samsung TV for about six months. Turned Netflix on today and it played about 15 minutes of the film and then closed out of Netflix. After a few attempts the problem appeared fixed so I settled back to watch the film. Again about 15 minutes into the film it rewinded end itself back to the start. Tried this a few times, disconnected and reconnected the router but to no avail. At one stage it shot the volume away up to maximum. Thought it was something to do with Netflix.

Later I turned the TV on to watch the news (Freeview) was sitting watching it when all of a sudden the channel changed from 1 upto 54, or something like that. There was no one at the controls. I've turned the set off completely and removed the plug from the power point just in case

As mentioned above I've had the set for about six months with no complaints but before going back to my retailer I just want to check if any of you guys have come across this problem before, or have you any idea of what causes it?

As always many thanks for your advice

Possibly a stuck remote control button. take the batteries out of the remote and see if it still happens.
