I tried with net transport download manager, but with no luck. I think it's to do with the way the pages are setup and no definitive feed for all the files not just the last 10 shows Iain did for LBC, basically I had to do it over a weekend page by page when they were free a few years back.

What about using the muffler bearings along with an E30910 to download Iain Lee's ten year old podcasts with the full duplex T-stops and platen railings?

Utterly deluded.

A very vocal and devoted audience does not automatically equal amazing ratings. He may have a following, but it's a tiny one. Iain is very much the Jeremy Corbyn of radio.

Iain i think is on air now doing a prank call on James Max he's under the name of "Tony" but certainly sounds like Iain. He's called James a Toff and giving him stick for having caddick on saying he's boring.

I dunno, I mean to all those who hold forth with such certainty about what Iain is like, what the station is, how it's doing, how many callers = listeners, what all the implications are, etc., I would simply ask "How do you know?"

Maybe you could include some supporting argumentation and/or examples because the naked opinion isn't really doing it. If you do know something for sure, allow me/us to follow you down the path to enlightenment by dropping a few crumbs along the way.

Both he and Kath have stated on air that the figures are bad. He said that Ian Collins has roughly 15 times as many listeners as him. Ian Collins has around 70'000 listeners, this leaves Iain Lee with about 4000. I'd say it's fairly obvious how few listeners there are simply by the number of "regular" callers he has. He might have a full switchboard every night but it's the same 20 people calling in every time.

On the new caller show he did on Thursday he still got a full switchboard.

If I remember correctly, Iain said they had 15,000 podcast downloads a day, which would suggest that either the RAJARs are wrong or most people don't listen live. I may have dreamed that number, can someone confirm?

RAJAR is awful. Because it is quite a niche show with little listeners, it just takes luck for an Iain Lee listener to get a RAJAR diary and it could extrapolate to the show doubling its listenership.

Ok, thanks for adding some reasons. I would wonder what actually constitutes bad figures and would like to know what the expectation is, what with the lack of promotion for the station, etc. But you did put some meat in the sandwich so I appreciate that

Lots of Digital Spy mentions just now, especially for Mr Brunel.

He just said that is a compliment.

First caller is Russell from Ireland. People were touched by his story a couple of weeks ago.

Iain played the new song he and Nigel have written and recorded last night wonder what people think of it?.

Personally I still think this one [link below] is the best Nigel has ever done, it is him, the jukebox is just something I added later after clipping the audio from the Mike Graham overnight show on talkSPORT before they went 24 hour talkPREM mad.

Plenty of mentions about this thread last night on the show but it seems Iain only likes to mention the odd negative stuff on here never mentioning all the wild praise he gets from practically all of us.

Last night he was urging a complete ban of forums.

I appreciate if he's always mentioning the praise he gets on here it might sound sickly but maybe it wouldn't hurt him not to keep making out we'll all keyboard warrior wasters.

If you're reading Iain don't take this to heart, most on here like you and listen to you but sometimes everyone has to take a few pelters it's just how it is.

Do the best of Iain Lee's usually read out the phone number, ask you to phone in, and to watch on Periscope?

EDIT: And now he's talking about the election.. My god, Atleast pick an episode that isn't on after such a huge news story lol

Iain's just said on Facebook that the thing on Friday night isnt now happening. It's just the show as usual from the studio (hopefully still with Neil Hannon)

Right, let the speculation begin...

It's about 10,000 more downloads than each of Gaunt's podcasts gets (Because he releases three a day, the daily numbers are the same, but it's split over a third of the listeners).

The bottom line to what Iain said the other night was that his show simply isn't for you. And everything you've posted on here about him would suggest that he's right.
