He's quoted lots of figures over the past few weeks, what makes you think that one is true?

he said that with a bit of a laugh in his voice so I don't think the 6500 figure is true.

Rob is always great on Iain's show, tonight though he was very quick and was brilliant.

"Iain if Keith Vaz stands for election again, will you stand behind him"
He always has something good lined up when he calls. Remember that game he had them playing when he called up 2-3 months ago?

The last caller of last night was Jim the Dancer, his first call to Iain on talkRADIO. That gave Iain the idea that the next meet would be a variety night at the same venue as Film Ring around the end of October. The listeners will be the performers.

I really think Iain Lee is missing a trick with this station, you have Paul Ross doing specials on submarines, has Iain considered a special on vacuum tubed televisions? I quite liked the old K28 tubes personally.

Were they better or worse than the K27 tubes?

So is Iain going to release the Itunes' EP?

Poor Nigel from Maidstone, quibbling over his share of the proceeds and now there may not be a release at all

So first 1 dimension spilt up and now this, it's been a terrible year for lost artist and music.

I'm not sure if I'm losing my mind here, but has anybody noticed anything odd about the sound when you call talkRADIO? Called for the first time in ages tonight, and really struggled to have a normal conversation!

It's something really subtle that throws you off a bit, I can't work out whether it's a slight delay on the sound coming back (processing?), or that you can hear yourself a little bit. It ends up in either awkward pauses, or talking over each other.

My phone is pretty bobbins, but I have perfectly capable normal phone conversations otherwise so not sure it's that!

I think I know what you mean. I called a couple of times last week, as well as once during straight-to-air and there was something a bit different compared to my earlier calls. And the station output sounded very distorted at times when listening down the phone.

The official podcast is now the highlights of the whole show. Until yesterday it was the whole last hour.

I've only started calling recently and just assumed it was normal and because I use Skype assumed that it was some delay there

Arghh but now if you don't make the podcast you now get confirmation that your call was utter bobbins Used to hate being shunted into the post midnight hour because I hate my voice on the radio but now you there's the fear of not being on

I had that when I called from my mobile. I assumed it was due to calling from Estonia, but perhaps there is also a delay with mobiles in general.

As soon as I switched to using my land line (well, plugged into the router) the delay disappeared.

Iain's just said on Twitter that he crashed his car and is feeling very deflated. No show tonight, at least that's what he said now.

Hope you're ok Iain. I know there needn't be any concrete reason for this, but I'm sure your worries with your mum's care are affecting you a lot. Take care of yourself, hug your family. That is the 'point' of which you speak. Hope you're back soon fella.

The idea of Jim the Dancer, Nigel from Maidstone and Alan Caddick performing together blows my mind! It might happen one day though...right?!
