We were all worrying about whether Nigel was in some way upset by the previous call but we were all worrying about nothing.

That's a good thing though, isnt it? That people were genuinely concerned about Nigel. Iain said something on Twitter yesterday about building up a community (I think I missed something) and I think he has done.

Agreed, he sounded in a lot better place last night as well. As i said in my previous post his last couple of calls have been quite uncomfortable but it seems not Dan (DCDJ) has set him straight and he's starting to get the songs are a bit of fun now.

I really enjoyed last nights show it had a good mix of strange calls, funny calls and serious stuff. I think Iain's Friday shows are the best of the week, it surprises me though as i would of though Fridays would be a tough slog for him with Nick Abbot on the other side but he seems to get more calls on a Friday than any other day.

Just finished listening to last night's show. The last caller was obviously a knob but it was exciting listening nevertheless. Also the first half hour or so is definitely worth catching up with if you didn't hear it.

Who was the caller? It seems half of Twitter knows but isn't telling - just that it's someone called Alex with a background in local radio..?

This may seem controversial.

I have listened to the 'Andy' call and actually, despite his tone and attitude, and up to the point where he says 'You make me sick' I actually agree with him 100%.

Iain Lee's show used to just be fun, last night was not fun to listen to. During the break I saw a broken man yelling... He needs to take Andys advice and stop reading social media.

The social media thing was pertinent, and I think Iain himself has said a number of times that if he didn't have a show to promote he wouldn't be on there. But everything else about the call, especially the way the guy spoke to him, was completely out of line. It doesn't surprise me that it's turned out there's an existing beef there, as that was clearly a caller looking to be a cock to Iain.

If its who i think it is, and i'm 99% sure it is. He used to work in BBC Local Radio and as a result has beef with BBC Local Radio in general. He used to regularly critique Iain's 3CR show because it didn't conform to the usual BBC Local Radio style regularly on youtube and twitter. He's quite a bitter person in general and not a very nice person to put it lightly. I'm not naming him due i'm not 100% sure and would be unfair if it wasn't him.
