I agree you do have to wait for the LBC podcasts and sometimes it's the next day before the one you want is available to hear but that apart I still consider it a great service and well worth the money. I think it's a bit harsh to criticise the editing, yes sometimes you might get the first line of a news bulletin but it's nothing really to bother about it's not like they've completely ruined a piece of music you were hoping to keep it's just recorded current affairs.
On the sound quality again it's not stereophonic music where it would be important it's just speech radio that most people don't save longer for than a week anyway.
Then again that's only how I see it, maybe some perfectionists would disagree.
