Scary where that time went. Still remember where I was when I heard the news. RIP Mike's Dickin.

They've cancelled Brexit!

By coincidence - it's right at the start of the 23:30-00:00 segment of Listen Again.

I'd like to hear Jonathan's rant if they really did cancel Brexit!

Iain clipped Jonathan saying "They've cancelled Brexit" and it didn't take long for other people to send in their remixed versions.

Iain prank called Mike Dickin once and has played it out on the show a few times, ending his call "My balls are full of sperm".

I've actually shared Jonathan's call on a forum unrelated to radio.

Any chance you could remind me what those scripts look like. Sorry for being a dope but I cant find the previous script in the nerdoftheherd downloader I use.

Cheers.

i'm running the scripts on my linux server, guess most people will be running windows though.
but here they are.
rec_iainlee_fall.sh
rec_iainlee_spring.sh
Switch between them when the clocks change, cron runs them at 4am each weekday.

Iain told us a little more about his listening figures on Friday. Friday is the least listened to day of the week and is the only day of the week he has fewer listeners than BBC London. Perhaps there is a different radio audience on Friday night compared to the rest of the week and might explain why some late night shows go from Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Thursday with a different show on Friday night.

As an aside, regular callers Penny, Triss and Lee have started their own podcast called "These People Podcast"

http://www.thesepeoplepodcast.com/

If you like Iain's show you will probably like this podcast. There have been two episodes so far and I enjoyed them a lot. Triss doesn't talk endlessly about the Beatles on it!

I think Iain might lose a few to Nick Abbot on a Friday night. No shame in that though

More misleading rubbish I'm afraid matey. He's not beating BBC local listening at night in Manchester or Lancashire or Newcastle or London or Liverpool in there own individual broadcast areas.

But in actual real listeners he is? Who cares where they come from, especially in these days where you don't *need* to be in a local radio broadcast area to listen to radio stations. It's 2016 not 1986.

I'm never lonely as I'm part of the warm and friendly Digital Spy Iain Lee on Talkradio thread.

Someone should arrange a meet up where regular Digital spy posters can meet Iain and have a group hug.
