I don't think anyone minds about the clunky gear-changes but its when on some nights the show can get into caller after caller wanting to discuss their problems treating the show as a free therapy session and the clunky-gear-change doesn't go back to fun
Despite Iain saying he welcomes the Gear Changes sometimes it feels out of place, the other night I was going to phone in with my wife's Trio albums, but just as I was about to ring an alcoholic was on talking about how bad their life was and I felt out of place talking about something as effete as a track listing
This is why I think one depressing call can lead to a night of such calls people don't feel comfortable introducing sillyness amidst others terrible lives
