So recent spoilers suggest that Belle falls in love with the doctor after an accident at work. I'm really not sure about this to be honest with you. It feels like Iain Macleod has slightly gone back into Hollyoaks mode again.

I'm not sure to be honest with you, it might have been round the time Kate had left so everything could off been up in the air, but I thought of by now Iain Macleod would of taken over.

Everything airing currently is Kate Oates work. That will be the case until June. She is still being credited as the producer at the end of every episode. Even though the new producer has taken over, he will still be overseeing Kate's storylines for quite a while yet and has said in an interview that he will only make changes to the planned stuff if he sees a way in which he can improve it. Storylines can be planned from 6 months to a year or even more before they air in many cases.

I didn't realise they went that far ahead, I thought it at the same time the filming takes place, eg 6 weeks ahead. Also what must Iain Macleod be doing twiddling his thumps and waiting for the sun to shine???

Producing everything that happen after the storylines Kate Oates had planned.

He also has been tweaking current stuff, in one interview he said he changed the outcome of the story Kate Oates planned for David.

Belle has turned into a very unlikeable woman lately.

I find her unlikeable most of the time.

Well yes, thinking about it I don't remember enjoying any of her storylines since she became a "regular" (or even before!). She's a fully fledged Dingle.

Why doesn't Belle say to the disbelievers Cain & Lisa that Rakesh knows about the affair as he caught them at the factory.

Even Cain suspected that Rakesh was the guy Belle was seeing as he saw them a couple of times talking together about the incident at the factory and got the wrong end of the stick

Garbage storyline IMO

It's actually a very good storyline imo. I liked Belle tonight

Emmerdale was brilliant tonight, although I didn't really like the twist. Why drag it out even longer and make her look like a nutter!

Glad it's not just me. I've just been reading all the moaning but it's a new take on grooming. OK Belle is 17 but she is vulnerable patient at his surgery.

I like that Emmerdale takes these storylines in directions that we don't expect.

Lisa found Belle's morning after pills a few weeks ago. So does she now think that Belle bought them and left them lying about as part of an elaborate cover up of her stalking ?

I don't think Lisa knows what to think. She's emotionally all over the place herself. It's the first time that I've thought there was some sense in splitting Zak and Lisa up. No doubt the outcome of this Belle stuff will be them back together.
