when she returned after her break, they went with the angle that Cheryl was getting to choose who was on the panel and she didn't want Louis. Then they had a lot of 'arguments' in the press. All this means is that both Louis and Cheryl will be on the panel this year.

To be honest I don't think it really matters who is on the panel at this stage, as they never seem to be able to find any decent judges. I can't actually remember the last time XF had a judge who knew what they were talking about AND came across well on TV (I liked Kelly R but she wasn't a good fit for the uk show).

Dannii Minogue was a good judge I thought. Much more classier than Tweedy and she
can sing better.

The very fact X Factor has become all about who the judges are is precisely why last years series was a complete flop.

X Factor would be better getting 4 unknown judges and let's focus on the contestants as its their careers at stake. Not to further the career of Cheryl "checking myself out on the monitors" Cole or whatever she calls herself these days.

The show really needs a new Leona/Little Mix just to prove that the show can still produce successful winners.

The whole panel has been looking a bit stale for ages. The age of having tabloid darlings on the panel should be brought to an end now. Rita was a step in the right direction because she is actually a good, current popstar but she's waffles on a lot and comes across as a bit of an airhead. As for Cheryl, she's not the nation's sweetheart anymore and her "banter" shtick with Cowell died a death years ago. She looks like she can't be arsed anymore.

It was the Cheryl show last year. Even though all she did was try and act cool, getting up and dancing to try and outstage Rita Ora, which was very cringe as she was like a drunk aunt at somebody's wedding. She's past it now - not age wise, just past it as she's lost her appeal.

What pissed me off was they purposely got people coming on gushing over her. trying to fool the general public into thinking she's still relevant and current. She is far from it and she knows it. Exactly why she's faking this romance with Liam Payne.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up as judge.

Would love to know what Tweedy has on Cowell to make him keep her around. Must be juicy.

Apparently Sharon Osbourne is being considered as well.

Louis is so good at playing the game. They'd be mad not to ask him back.
