LG TV Software Issue

A problem has arisen after updating the tv's software and annoying, after i have changed channels, about 10 secs after the screen goes black with or without sound and then comes back on normally. Before i updated the software nothing was wrong at all and not getting the picture going off after channel change.

Not sure if it's related but the model is LG 29MT31S-PZQ and current version of firmware is 04.27.09 previous it was something like 04.25.07.

I've contacted LG support and they are blaming the tv signal, total rubbish as it was fine before updating.

Any advice?
