Does anyone here like the Ukrainian singer Ruslana? I've listened to a lot of her stuff over the years and think she's really good. I guess she's only really known here in the UK for winning Eurovision in 2004 with Wild Dances but she's recorded so much since then (and before then too), as well as becoming well known for her political activism and being awarded the "International Woman Of Courage" award by the U.S.! I like a lot of her songs but here's one of my favourites, which I believe is called Fire Or Ice (translated from: Вогонь чи лід or Vohon chy lid) - Sorry, my Ukrainian isn't up to much, I had to use Google Translate, lol!

I've never listened to her other songs but I still enjoy blasting out Wild Dances from time to time!

I've seen quite a few of her concerts on TV in Ukraine, she may not be as popular as she once was though, as when I was over there at Christmas I didn't see any of her usual Christmas TV specials.

Don't know much of her music but Wild Dances is a tune. Did she not become a politician?
