HDR-1000S Analogue Subtitle Support
Just been around another home with the Samsung SMT-S7800 and was surprised to see that subtitles seem to work on Drama channel 162 when with the Humax HDR-1000S they do not (watching Inspector Lynley).
Looking at the menu on the Samsung it seems to support two subtitle formats as the Humax just has off/on. Am I missing something or for someone who is death is it better to stick with an old Samsung box? Many Thanks |

Just checked on my Panny GT60:
Subtitles (DVB) on DTT Drama OK Subtitles (DVB) on freesat Drama - not present Subtitles (teletext - for Sky box compatibility) on freesat - present and only choice on my Foxsat-HDR. (need to input 888) So, I'd guess Drama don't do DVB subs on their satellite feed. On my HDR I get the option of teletext and English (DVB) subs on BBC channels... but not on my TV's freesat tuner. |

Just an update...
It would seem someone at Drama has fixed or changed the subtitles and they now work with the current Humax box
